We're near the end and I think they are all getting a bit fed up with each other in there.
Nobody is going to leave their couple and the producers are trying to make some drama.

Thought Grace lacked a bit of empathy in that she couldn't understand how the public felt sorry for Sammie. Sammie was kept in holding for weeks and when she was brought in she had no real options. Luca was never going to leave the secure couple he was in with Grace. She was respectful to Grace throughout and was then dumped after a few days.

When Ekin Su caught up with her brother, no tears, just straight down to business, largely about how he thought she was doing. But she nearly gave the game away when she had to stop herself laughing in the brief discussion about Curtis.

She and Curtis have a nice arrangement for their mutual benefit, nothing more, but they’re the most sophisticated pair in there and can easily out-manoeuvre the rest of them. It sounds here as though they might be succeeding.

I think the producers would have pissed a few 'good' contestants off with sammie's short time in the villa and they won't want to come on next year (it won't be on next year anyway but still)

Yep I can definitely see this! There’s a lot who will never do All Stars unless they can come in at the beginning/be first bombshell, know there will be choice in there for them, etc etc etc. They’ve made it too obvious that they’re working ‘with’ Ekin and other people will start looking for special treatment now in exchange for putting on a good show.

All Stars was a good idea in theory but we don’t need it again next year. It’s almost just an extension of last season, with Harriet/Ronnie/Omar/Grace just getting extended villa time with some new people.

Yeah it has been just a reunion from last season and they haven't been able to hide the stagedness of it all

Even with the normal love island, they recruit from the same pool of people who know eachother - that's their problem

I miss the days where if people wanted to be famous it meant being messy, going out partying, being a bit crazy… now being famous means looking for opportunities, working with brands on insta etc 😭 I wish it was still about who could be the most nuts and get in all the magazines for being drunk and snorting coke in a club!

I watched a bit of the OG series 1 in this week and while it’s rough and ready, honestly, Hannah just makes me absolutely howl with laughter.
The night they take the lads into Magaluf is iconic.
In the first few series as well everyone is burned to bits, in their own clothes, and they get through cigarettes like there is no tomorrow.
Peak Love Island for me was when they first sent Mike in, during Olivia Attwood’s time. Every single girl drools. Such a shame what happened to him and to
Caroline, who I loved, she was very relatable.
Back then the show would make headline news it was a ratings hit.
Now it’s just dire and Curtis saying ‘lovely ladeez’ all the time is making me want to throw up.

I must say Amy Hart has been an absolute pro on the Morning After (I listen to the podcast whilst checking emails). I know she's well over Curtis with a husband and baby but it still must take some inner steel to speak so kindly and measuredly about someone that embarrassing who showed you up in public. She's been great.

I think she’s fantastic and very bright. I hope the podcast leads to more TV work for her as I really like her.
