The storylines are ridiculous and so fast paced but I will continue to watch as I loved it in the early days!

spanieleyes · 02/10/2025 18:12

I do think Jon Richardson is doing a good job in this role, I thought he might have been brought in as ‘ light relief’ but actually he’s a nasty piece of work!

sunshineandshowers40 · 02/10/2025 18:13

His character is so unpleasant; I want to see how much further he will go whilst they are all clueless (except for maybe one character).

luckylavender · 06/10/2025 08:48

Goodness I watched episode 4 last night. Rarely anything moves me to tears.

Chiaseedling · 07/10/2025 16:09

I’ve watched it all (I put it on when I’m cooking/eating - it’s not worth a proper evening watch!).
The ending is so frustrating you’ll want to kick the TV!!
Used to love it in the Grantly Budgen days …

NCTDN · 07/10/2025 19:21

I’m only on episode 3. Stella’s granddaughter singing was amazing ! She was so annoying in coronation street so I got such a shock!

OlderGlaswegianLivingInDevon · 07/10/2025 20:57

@NCTDN Ooh who was she in Corrie ?

NCTDN · 07/10/2025 21:25

She’s was that granddaughter of Stu’s that lived with yasmeen.

Iwishiwasapolarbear · 07/10/2025 21:26

I thought she was really annoying in this too but she does have a fantastic singing voice

NCTDN · 07/10/2025 21:27

Never expected that for episode 4. I knew from on here to expect something but not what it was.
I do feel that it’s mixed though because incredibly sad, but there’s no way that staff in schools would not be aware of a child with an EpiPen.
jon Richardson is horrible !!

suburburban · 07/10/2025 22:12

I missed the later episodes so it is hard to follow. I didn’t realise they weren’t repeated the following Tuesday

the resignation letter thing was totally ridiculous. Stella couldn’t do that.

You can catch up with any missed episodes on BBC iplayer as they are all already available on there!

Meredusoleil · 13/10/2025 22:40

So upset about Joe 😥 He was one of the few teachers that never stepped a foot wrong!

These new members of staff are all troublemakers. Hope Jack doesn't become the next victim of Darius.

I still have episode 8 to watch.

NCTDN · 21/11/2025 21:09

I know this is ages ago but only just watched the final episode.
Donte is great!

Donte is great but gutted that the horrible teacher didn’t get his comeuppance & the lovely teacher he shafted in the first episode is still sacked!!

Stella wouldn't have been able to have anything to do with the investigation into her granddaughter's death either by sitting on the panel.

Meredusoleil · 07/01/2026 19:29

New series has started on BBC1 now!

MrsPeterHarris · 07/01/2026 21:14

I’m watching it now! Enjoying it as usual! Can’t believe the horrible teacher is still around. Loving Steph being back and so funny that she didn’t remember Donte!

Is Kym Marsh not in this series? Didn’t see her name
in the opening credits.

PractisingMyTelekenipsis · 07/01/2026 22:32

I've just binged 3 episodes. Love seeing Steph again!

fashionqueen0123 · 07/01/2026 22:34

Ugh the horrible teacher is doing my head in hope they wrap this story up!

NCTDN · 20/01/2026 22:07

I’m behind- just watched episode 2. Can anyone tell me what Ben took out of his locker at the end?

Sadcafe · 21/01/2026 18:26

I’ve also binge watched, still got the last two to go, no spoilers but I glad I’m not alone in really not liking Darius

it looked like drugs

Busfriend · 21/01/2026 19:16

Going back to episode 4 of the last series was very frustrating. I was a teacher and we were all fully trained on how to administer an EpiPen. Hope would have had a care plan and teachers would have been informed. I was primary but there was one in the classroom and a spare in the office. All medication (including inhalers) was checked regularly that it was in date. Not sure if it’s different for secondary though

Sadly though, an out of date epipen probably isn’t an impossibility, I’ve known drugs be out of date on a resus trolley in the NHS never mind a pen in a school and it is a drama, I’m sure much of what happens pushes the boundaries of reality same as any other drama program, we probably wouldn’t watch it otherwise
