Carla and Swain are still an item

Bethany and Daisy are always at war
Over Daniel I know what a surprise
Gemma and Chesney are off on a trip
And Nick and Toyah are making us roll our eyes

Kevin may have cancer that's all that he needs
But Tim and Sally seem sound
Amy seems troubled I hope she's OK
And with Leanne and Tracey, mischief is abound

David and Shona are always on their toes
Scared of Harvey's heavies coming at them
Eva has left, will a few more will leave soon?
Will things be quite different by the next full moon?

All the old regulars don't appear much these days
Or any funny storylines or good feeling
It's just like The Bill with all convicts and thugs
And crime and violence that just leaves us reeling

Daisy is pregnant but who's the daddy
She doesn't seem to want to know
I wonder if we'll ever know or she'll keep it a secret
Now that she's decided she is going to keep it!

DeeDee's still pregnant I think but she's gone quiet
Lauren's been cleared of her 'crime.'
Debbie's still sassy, and Ronnie's still sexy
And Kit is in Corrie all the time!

Do you think this new couple will be permanent, seeing as they’ve acquired a house? A lot of families arrive as troublemakers and settle down into a regular family. Seems an OTT revenge plot to rent a house!

I have watched a few episodes haven’t been a regular viewer for a while.
It looks like a soap still in Covid mode. As a PP noted, why didn’t Tyrone pop and see Kevin?
There isn’t much in terms of exterior action. Very few extras. It’s like it’s all done on an absolute shoestring.
It needs a major, major clear out or it will never survive.
There are some fantastic young actors on it - Daisy is superb and I think Kit is excellent and a keeper.
The storyline with Abi is awful and I thought Rob’s assault on the female copper in the car was so violent. Although I have to say he’s a good character to watch.
Steve is like Widow Twanky and Cassie drugging Ken’s tea is pantomime villain. She’s a great soap actress - surely they could do something better?
There is no way in previous years that Dev would have settled for Bernie.
Watching the classic eps there is so much going on and people you care about.
As for Carla, I think she’s a fantastic character but how many times is she going to be rich/skint again.
David without Gail is pointless.
And all that dark navy decor….

The 20k was Chesneys share of Les' death at work settlement instead of going to court for liability IIRC

I think it's coincidence they've moved behind them. Lou genuinely likes Gemma and her husband is just a bit of a tosser - I've known plenty like him in my time, they definitely exist 😫

Van man stole Chesney's spot at Freshcos so Ches blocked him in. Van man scratched Chesneys car getting out. Then Chesney decided he was following him and put sugar in his tank iirc. I'm assuming Ches wasn't being paranoid as Van man is clearly very petty and vindictive.

I thought the streetcars set always looked cheap? But you’re right, it could have just been a piece of wood with a hatch and a door!
