@CellophaneFlower as far as I remember, Nathan is still in jail because the police found a firestick with illegal porn in his van, he was on licence so was returned to jail for that.

Bethany has become a permanent victim character. They do not seem to have worked out what else to do with her. In this stint, she shacked up with Daniel two minutes after coming back and has had a couple of years of the tedious love triangle with Daisy, plus the trip to Turkey where she came back with a stoma.

I know her career as journalist is absurd but could they not have developed that, asides from a stint at Hiya, she did nothing for over a year. Having a job could have made her more interesting.

I think Harvey is after more than £10,000 from David. It paid for the house (that's now burned down!) so must be over £100,000 - not sure how much 3-beds are in a cobbled street on outskirts of Manchester 😂😂

I don't know how David is going to get himself out of this one, unless someone inside knifes Harvey. We already had this storyline of 'random innocent running drugs for Harvey' a few years when Simon got roped into it by Jacob (Damon's son).

I think Harvey may be my least favourite ever character (and he's got stiff competition!)

They just used it as a deposit on a mortgage I think. It was definitely 10k, then I'm sure he demanded extra for interest, but 10k was mentioned again recently.

So Damon left the money in a locker for Sarah to collect to pay for bethanys treatment wherever it was. Turkey? Sarah refused it but david heard and stole it. Nobody knew at first and Damon smoothed things over but david was spotted trying to return the money. He ended up giving the money Jesse who put money into David's account so it looked legit for the bank. Jesse is going to pass the cash on in France doing up his and Gail's love nest. Now Harvey (whose cash it was originally) wants david to pay it back. He considered burning the house down for the insurance but thought better of it but max decided it was a foolproof idea and did it instead. Now no house and one presumes no insurance money and no holdall of cash. So david is going to do more dodgy work for his old cell mate.

If you've read any of this thread you might have noticed that I'm slightly obsessed with the identity of mysterious van man 😳 My latest theory is that it's gemma's new bezzie's hubby.

It was shown that he had some sort of relationship with the bezzie, but the way he was revealed seemed to be "taadaa bet you never saw that coming gullible viewer" and I'm thinking "who the feck is that?"

Sam is a sanctimonious, judgmental pain in the arse. He turned his back on Leanne in the blink of an eye, switching his loyalty to Toyah who had an affair with her brother in law.

Leanne is flawed for sure but she was his step mum and they were close. If I were Leanne I would stop grovelling to Sam (and would be tempted to tell him to get stuffed!).

Tonight? Haven't watched it yet!

I do find it daft that Dev has gone off to India to look after an aunt who he never mentions or talks about. (Has he EVER mentioned her?!) Dropping everything in his life, to swan off 5000 miles away to look after some random extended family member. Who would do that?!

I am sure she would have someone in India to look after her! 😆 They have done this sort of thing before. (With other characters.)
