The Traitors series 3 UK finale airs at 8:30pm on Friday 24th January, BBC1. Followed by a 45 minute episode of U cloaked.

Charlotte has a secret to reveal to Frankie... what will Frankie do with this information? Will she herself become collateral damage?

I really hope Charlotte isn't getting "hatred" on line. It's a bloody game ffs.
Of course viewers are going to have favourites and dislikes- the popularity of the programme depends on it. As I said on the tail end of the last thread, if we didn't engage with their characters it would be just a game of chance, like Deal or No Deal with people instead of boxes.
I hadn’t warmed to Charlotte as a faithful so when she became a traitor and immediately set out to get Minah (who I really had taken to!), my opinion was cemented.
It's entirely possible to acknowledge the reasonableness of her tactics within the rules of the game, but still not like her or want her to win. Leanne taking things so personally really irritates me. Like Liv did. So I'd be happy to see her go.
I like Alexander based on his actions in the game and how he's reacted to being suspected so much. So I'd like him to be a winner. I feel more neutral about Frankie and Jake.

CatDogGuineaPig · 24/01/2025 08:17

I think Freddie lost that when there was a possible way out - instead of making up the nonsense about Minah he could have said something that threw doubt on the whole group... he could have said it was likely the traitor did a double bluff, attempting to murder Leanne in order to frame him and Alexander, plus the possibility Leanne was a traitor with a shield (as per Alexander's reasoning).

I'm not sure we can be that cross with Charlotte, the whole game is based on lying and manipulating people to believe your lies. I didn't like what Harry did last year because it seemed to be relying on Molly's crush on him and what Charlotte has done is just the game.

Hopefully either Charlotte (clever) or Alexander (lovely) will win, sadly o don't think either will. Leanne is such a bully - I really hope it's not her.

Lentilweaver · 24/01/2025 08:18

We can all have our likes and dislikes but not employing someone because they played a Traitor seems over the top.

UntamedShrew · 24/01/2025 08:19

I love Charlotte’s glee at it all - she’s embracing the chaos in this crazy game! The seer twist must have been gutting for her.

can’t wait for tonight 😁

Lot of talk about how intelligent Alexander is, but has he found a single Traitor except Minah? Yes, I know that's blasphemy! He seems fixated on Leanne because he dislikes her hair flicking.
Though he may be biding his time re Charlotte.

Finding Traitors is largely a case of luck for the faithful. It's Traitors who get to show their strategy.
Alexander has shown a higher level of emotional intelligence than most of the others. He and Minah together would have been awesome.

xsquared · 24/01/2025 08:21

EDIT: Meant to have quote Lentilweaver's post re Alexander being intelligent.

Well, Armani had already left when Alexander joined. So that was already one less traitor for him to find.

There are other ways to be intelligent. He took one for thenl team when he put himself forward for the Two Faced player question. He's emotionally intelligent in that sense.

Knowing that he wasn't going to get the most amount of cash banked at the end of yesterday's mission, he came up with a tactic to bump Frankie's total up. Except she didn't take the hint in choosing him.

His dislike for Leanne is the same as Leanne's dislike for him. They clashed at the round table. She called him patronising amd I guess he found her aggressive and neither seem to be able to let go of their grudge against each other. To Leanne's credit, she gave him a hug yesterday, perhaps as a peace offering of some.kind.

Absolutely!

ChannelFiveDrama · 24/01/2025 08:23

But I think giving Frankie the means and then asking her to choose him is indicative of being a faithful. Of course he could be bluffing and she will know that but it's high risk for him and so she is wise to go with the person who was named by an outgoing traitor.

Looking around at the final group members today it seems that either playing dim or being dim really works as a tactic for survival to the end. Unless you're Alexander who's just been a scapegoat/fall guy.

I don't think either Charlotte or Frankie can survive this seer business. If you were a pure faithful you just couldn't risk going to the end with either of them now.

I was rooting for Minah as a Traitor's win but now it's down to Charlotte I don't want her to get the victory. Even though she's played well. I hope Alexander makes it all the way but I suspect it's going to be Jake and Leanne only.

I thought it looked like that (playing/bring dim) at one point, but I don't think it's played out that way. Jake and Alexander haven't played dim. Leanne has been abrasive and downplayed her army background but hasn't really come across as dim. Charlotte and Frankie have played nice rather than dim.

I was interested in the high rate of ethnic minority characters being voted off at first and the suggestion there might be unconscious bias. I think the success of Minah and Freddie showed that wasn't really what was going on. But there definitely can be a group think bullying vibe which picks on people in a slightly arbitrary way, especially at first when there isn't much to go on.

PuppyMonkey · 24/01/2025 08:32

Loved the moment where Freddie’s lie about Minah telling him Leanne had the shield unravelled. Squirming.Grin

The title itself is a spoiler. How bloody annoying.

I'm just hoping Charlotte washes her hair for the grand finale.

And changes out of those dungarees!

Plastictrees · 24/01/2025 08:36

I certainly don’t think Charlotte has ‘played nice’!

CaveMum · 24/01/2025 08:37

I wonder if Alexander is the S3 Jaz - playing cards close to his chest until the last moment. Didn’t work out in the end for JaAgatha though did it?!

How so? These threads are TV pace, so once it's been on TV, it's not a spoiler.

Actually I kind of agree - fair enough to discuss what has shown on TV in the thread itself as if you havent seen it yet you can avoid but the title makes it clear Alexander is still in the game and some people might not have seen last nights episode yet. I won’t be watching the final tonight as am going to the theatre, will catch up Sat morning, so wouldn’t want to see a thread title telling me something like that. Although I will be avoiding the internet entirely.

myplace · 24/01/2025 08:44

Actually that’s true, it would be worth avoiding that on future titles. People can’t choose not to see the title.

This. I think Frankie and Alexander have talked more than we have seen and she didn't need to pick him to confirm he's faithful as she already believes it. He helped her become the seer and said he was happy to be chosen.

He's probably also spoken logically to her about the Leanne 'murder' and how many traitors were left. There was a point in the library where, after Charlotte left the room, Freddie and Alexander talked about the possibility of a recruitment the previous night and when Freddie asked who might have been recruited Alexander nodded at the empty chair where Charlotte had been. Think that's who nodded at the chair. So of the 6, Alexander is thinking two are traitors so now one of the 5 after Freddie leaves.

Final evidence - when Frankie had gone off with Claudia, in the round table room Charlotte said to the other 3 'is that all of the traitors gone now?'. Alexander will have seen the vote Freddie gave Charlotte and heard her say that and thought she is trying to suss out who still thinks another traitor. Which is what a traitor would want to know.

So Alexander will believe Frankie and Leanne is persuadable. Charlotte is toast. After that I think we will see a master class from Alexander in negotiation tactics to try to get the 4 of them as winners and, if Jake or Leanne want to banish again he will stick with Frankie and vote out whoever wanted to banish again.

APushbikeNamedReluctance · 24/01/2025 08:45

Alexander hasn't got ot right about too many traitiors has he? He's thought Minah and Leanne from early on - the Freddie which he ended up accidentally getting right thanks the Charlotte.

I really thought he'd cottoned on to Charlotte when she was talking to Freddie and him after breakfast, but nothing came of it. (Freddie really should have pushed it further. The silly goose.)

I think Leanne will believe Frankie the Seer - because of Freddie's vote for Charlotte. Plus Charlotte is now in a Freddie position trying to stop suspicion on her and get it on Frankie.

Plus if anyone recalls Charlotte saying "Four traitors. Do you think that's all the traitors gone" they may start thinking everyone left is faithful.

Alexander could be ok - Leanne seems fairly capricious in her opinions to me. Difficulty is Jake he has to be in control and wants everyone following his thinking.

Edited

Unless Alexander is a super strategist and giving his coins to Frankie was an attempt at self-preservation.

Seer is a poison chalice, as the Faithful can’t be sure if the Seer is a Traitor. So, the Seer has a higher risk of being banished.

Alexander was at risk of banishment. But, if Frankie gets banished, Alexander makes it to the final group. If he can out the Traitor at that point, he banks.

Anyone know how many will be left in the final group round the fire pit this year? Is it 3 or 2?

PixelatedLunchbox · 24/01/2025 08:50

Charlotte doesn't come across as a very likeable human being. The second she was recruited she was already undermining Minah.

Yes it's a game and involves scheming and lying, but Charlotte appears to play with zero integrity, and that's an ugly look. Hope she gets booted.

@Satsunday -- the scarf on and off at the round table, we see only minutes of the round table but it apparently lasts for 1-3 hours depending on the number of people there.

Choux · 24/01/2025 08:50

Alexander is so level headed, strategic and intelligent that the producers aren't going to let us know everything he is thinking / has told the others. Otherwise it wouldn't be so thrilling to see how tonight's episode unfolds.

BishyBarnyBee · 24/01/2025 08:50

Plastictrees · 24/01/2025 08:36

I certainly don’t think Charlotte has ‘played nice’!

She has definitely presented as nice, regardless of what was happening behind the scenes.

WettyBite · 24/01/2025 08:53

I always find it odd complaining about spoilers to a programme millions are watching, surely you stay off social media until you’ve watched it?!

I actually cringed last night when poor Freddie said Minah told him about the shield after she’d been banished 😑

I think they’ll banish Alexander tonight sadly, Charlotte too hopefully.
