Traitors - are they influenced in who to murder

New to this show - just wondered if the traitors are influenced by the producers on who to murder? Eg to keep more of a gender or ethnicity balance or to keep in faithfuls who are proving popular with the public etc?

Sometimes I can see the logic of who they choose but sometimes it seems they miss someone really obvious. Eg when Leanne and Alexander had that spat, surely murder one of them as casts suspicion on the other?

This was all filmed months ago, so public popularity doesn't come into it.

I wouldn't think the producers have any influence, I can't see that it would serve any purpose? The Traitors have their own reasoning, which might not be obvious or what you would have done, but this doesn't mean it's fixed.

Ah didn’t realise it was filmed so long ago.

I’ve watched all the traitors, including the US one and cannot see how they can be influenced anyway apart from the challenges, do you wonder if getting immunity is easier for some.

The traitor tower in s2 became an absolute boys club. Even Claudia said another man? when they recruited.

Nah, they’re not influenced.

Yeah probably

For the round table too

For sure they're manipulated by the production crew

All the little scenes where small groups gather and chat

All produced

None of these shows are totally random
