As we enter the final week of The Traitors series 3, who will be victorious?

I suppose it could be down to editing. But he still comes across as not very nice.

I too love a foreign supermarket - we are meant to be!

JessicafelloffTheKnappett · 20/01/2025 23:18

I have just noticed the VIII in the thread title..... fantastic @witchycat2 👏 👏 👏 love it!

witchycat2 · 20/01/2025 20:16

You're probably right. But not sure I would call Jake a good traitor hunter - Linda was all but wearing her black cloak to the breakfast table.

Wait what - the cloaks are green, aren’t they?! Or am I having a gold/blue dress moment?

witchycat2 · 21/01/2025 08:10

Oh yes dark green, my bad @SoScarletItWas

I’ve been reading these threads behind the times as I was catching up. I’m here now and excited to watch the final week! Agree re Leanne - she can dish it out but really can’t take it - and I think Joe comes across really badly but given how much they all seem to like him I guess we are missing something in the edit. I think Charlotte is going to win but I’d like it to be Minah. I enjoyed the dinner party

Yay new thread , thank you @witchycat2 and so glad to see you as OP. I can’t read all the posts!

dapsnotplimsolls · 21/01/2025 09:44

I really want to know what Joe did before teaching.

beautyandTVisgoodenoughforme · 21/01/2025 09:55

Thank you for the share token @Cismyfatarse ! Yes the VIII in the title is great work @witchycat2 . @AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta i agree since I read that Times article in a previous thread about how they make the episodes by starting with the finish and then set up the narrative, I’m looking for those kind of clues. It would make great TV for Charlotte to try to backstab Minah and Minah to succeed!

No idea what the twist will be. Heres my thoughts for what they’re worth. Alexander, Charlotte, Freddie and Minah for the final. Jake will be murdered, Frankie will be banished, and Joe/Leeanne one of them will be banished for being too accusatory.

Alexander - think he’s in with a chance, he’s been set up as a good guy and the others really trust him, so he’s unlikely to be banished. Leeanne gave him heat because she made it personal, not on any evidence. The others didn’t seem to support her.

Charlotte - I think she’s being too obvious and there might be a trip up, if not a banishment then at least some drama and mistrust that means she won’t be kept to the end game.

Frankie - I don’t know what to think here. She’s formidable at the roundtable so this might put her in the banishment cross hairs. They’ll all be really paranoid now.

Freddie - think he could win. It feels like they’re all done being suspicious of him early in the series. He makes a good point that that now puts him in the murdered crosshairs, but I think there are more threatening people to murder. I also think he’s learned a few like lessons from being treated poorly at the beginning and will be smart if he makes it to the final episode.

Jake - don’t have much of an opinion as I think Wednesday’s episode will start with his murder.

Joe - set up as too much of a villain, I’m expecting something where his own barbs are turned on him.

Leeanne - she’s making herself unlikeable in the castle, if she keeps on with the why am I in line, she’ll alienate everyone.

Minah - she’s doing great and she just has to watch out for Charlotte! Whenever the suspicion has been on her I think she’s dealt with it really well. She’s also subtle at starting the suspicion. No one has ever said “oh Minah you said that first”.

ViolinsPlayGentlyOn · 20/01/2025 20:02

Oh, that would be a good twist.

Perhaps a “true or false” game for the mission with vague clues e.g. “one of the contestants is in the Army”, “one of the contestants is faking their accent”

This would be fab!

Drdoing · 21/01/2025 10:32

Blimey we're getting through these threads at a pace! Minah will get screwed over by Charlotte no doubt

RainbowSnake · 21/01/2025 10:38

I think Charlotte could win at this stage but I also think she’s doing a bit too much and that could be her downfall. She very confidently said that there were two traitors left which wasn’t picked up on at the time but if she continues with comments like that and gunning for Minah too hard without ever bringing her name up at the round table then she could put herself at risk.

I want Minah to win. I think she’s played it fantastically so far and absolutely deserves it.

witchycat2 · 21/01/2025 10:49

I think anything could happen, they turn on people in an instant and then the whole roundtable follows suit. I think we're in for a rollercoaster this week.

I didn't notice the shot of 'The seer' book. I'm intrigued how this will work out.

I think this is harsh. I don't like him as a person on the programme but I know plenty of people like him who are excellent in the classroom. And all the participants genuinely seem to like him.

Most people on this thread are saying how mean and unpleasant joe has been to others...oh the irony.
I don't mind him or leane but would definitely prefer the other faithful to win

Choux · 21/01/2025 12:55

As @FridayNight1975 said 'towards the end of the Danish version, one person is given the option to meet with someone of their choice privately and they have to answer truthfully if they’re a traitor or faithful.

it then becomes a game of who can lie better when they meet the rest again and each gives their version of the meeting.'

I like that as an idea. Which is the seer role so fits with showing the book.

I think the producers know what they are doing and how to deliver a gripping final week so would be confident in saying that what we current think looks likely to happen - Charlotte getting Minah banished - is not what will happen.

We only think Minah is getting heat because we have seen some of it. But all the other players could be getting as much heat in the round table but we don't get shown that so conclude she is more exposed. Charlotte could be saying everyone's name as a possible traitor but we only see what she has said about Minah.

If there is a person given a chance to find out someone's role I hope it is Alex. I hope he chooses Charlotte and then convinces the others to banish her. He then gets recruited and he and Minah can win together. Well I can dream.

crastinatelikeapro · 21/01/2025 13:25

I don't want there to be any messing with the format before the final if I'm honest.

I also don't like split or steal.

I do think for future series it would be good to have a separate traitors money pot, and any money not won goes there. It would give them an incentive to sabotage the missions, but discreetly.

whaddayawannado · 21/01/2025 14:06

Is it still only Tuesday?

I like this idea. Add on there being a mini traitor task which can block shields each task - the it give the faithfuls a chance at spotting actual clues rather than the grasp a straws "Edwin didn't drink all his tea at breakfast" roads they go down now

ANiceBigCupOfTea · 21/01/2025 15:26

I would really love to see the faithful win it this time round, but I think if it's a traitor win it will be Charlotte.
I'm not keen on Leanne and I do hope she goes next. I don't mind Joe and Freddieand I love Frankie and Alexander. They have both showed their capability and their ability to be team players during the challenges.

ANiceBigCupOfTea · 21/01/2025 15:28

Also sorry if this has already been discussed as I haven't rtft but how do we feel about the seer being added in for this week?

We don't know quite what's occurring yet, but I suppose they have their reasons for moving the goalposts to wherever they move them to.

I really like this idea of the Traitors being able to block the faithful from getting a shield, works in so many ways!
