As we enter the final week of The Traitors series 3, who will be victorious?

OP posts:
Welshiegreen · 20/01/2025 09:48

I really hope Alexander wins. He comes off as a very good faithful, genuine... And his instincts are very good!

Sixtop · 20/01/2025 10:11

I live in hope that some day, someone will vote at the round table saying ‘Leanne, I have no idea if you’re a traitor, I’m just voting for you because you’re annoying and your hair-fiddling is driving me mad!’

fairydust11 · 20/01/2025 10:12

Thanks for the new thread!
Unfortunately I don’t think Minah will win, she has too much heat on her now, even if she gets to the final round table I doubt they’d end the game with her still there.
It will be interesting to see what the twist will be on Weds…

MrsLargeEmbodied · 20/01/2025 10:12

@Sixtop
i want someone to say you are a traitor, Because I just dont like you!
but that is a big risk

ValentineBlack · 20/01/2025 10:13

BlanketLanyard · 20/01/2025 09:42

Any guesses as to what the "big twist" "superpower" could be? Immunity from banishment at a round table? Double vote at the table? Knowing the number of traitors there are left? Given the choice to switch sides?

The big twist will be that Frankie IS Freddie's mother, Minah and Jake are married and the last two to come in at breakfast are always faithful

I remember on an international episode, someone voted for a player at the roundtable and they did say something like: 'I don't think you're a traitor, I just don't like you' 😂

"Minah has played such an amazing game that she deserves to win. Her name auto-corrects to money so THIS IS A SIGN!"

I dictate my messages, and my phone hears Minah as 'meaner'. IS THIS ALSO A SIGN 😃

I want Minah to win, or Alexander or.... anyone but Leanne or Joe, basically.

CaveMum · 20/01/2025 11:01

Thanks for the new thread. Here for Minah to win, she’s played a blinder so far and I hope that she throws Charlotte under the bus at the final “declare your truth” roundtable.

witchycat2 · 20/01/2025 11:32

I would like Minah to win too. I wonder what would happen if she and Charlotte win against the faithfuls - would they do 'share or steal'? In that scenario I can see Minah going share and Charlotte going steal....

‘Anyone But Leanne, Jake or Joe’

This.

I feel like Minah totally knows what she's doing. I even think she got the measure of Charlotte before recruiting her- she said hat a strong person she was so she must have seen that side to her when others overlooked it (obviously trusting the Welsh accent and dingarees!).

Re. The twist I suspect it will be something which bumps up their prize pot significantly and maybe loses a couple of players at once. What would be good is a secret vote for a banishment as I feel like everyone this series is really easily swayed. I think it would have looked very different if they'd followed their instincts.

LuckysDadsHat · 20/01/2025 11:58

I want Alexander to win, but don't think he will.

Edited

Alexander is the winner of the public love :)

I’ve just listened to the TV Worth Talking About podcast and someone has sent in a theory of a big twist they could throw in - a Faithful is taken by Claudia to the turret to spy on the Traitors. They are told that if they outright tell anyone what they have seen they will be removed from the game. It is their job to lead the Faithful to uncovering a Traitor without the Traitors discovering what they are doing.

SlightlyJaded · 20/01/2025 12:03

I still think they will go with the Seer as the big twist. The hint via the 'Seer' book on the shelf, Claudia's interview saying it will turn things on it's head - it could be that.

OR (and I think this would be a great twist) The traitors have to revert to being Faithfuls and two new Traitors are recruited by Claudia (not the Traitors). But I think it might be too late in the day for that now.

outofofficeagain · 20/01/2025 12:03

Can I have some 'finale' ideas?

I've bigged it up to DS1 and his girlfriend that we're making a proper night of it.

I need themed snacks. I may try and find some gloves.

ViolinsPlayGentlyOn · 20/01/2025 12:08

I need themed snacks.

Do they still do those Doritos where you randomly get a super-hot one?

That’s pretty much the ‘Seer’ role, though.

TokyoSushi · 20/01/2025 12:16

Checking in, Team anybody but Leanne, Jake and ghastly Joe!

I was going to ask what Seer means - so that's it?

I also wondered about swapping out the traitors but it probably is too late.

If the traitors win and they do share or steal Charlotte would definitely steal but I think Minah might too - it would be funny if they both got nothing

happinessischocolate · 20/01/2025 12:44

Frankie, Alexander and Freddie need to team up and get rid of the rest

CaveMum · 20/01/2025 12:51

Sixtop · 20/01/2025 12:12

I hadn’t come across it before! Have they used it in other versions? I’ve only watched the UK and dipped in and out of US versions.

TheFifthTellytubby · 20/01/2025 12:52

A couple of musings...
Re the challenges and the Scottish weather: IIRC, last year's final showdown took place indoors instead of by the firepit as planned, because it was bucketing down outside.
Re player intelligence (or lack thereof): the producers should actively approach applicants to shows like Only Connect and Mastermind if they want to get more than a handful of people who are capable of playing the game based on measured observation, rational thinking and strategy, rather than popularity, kneejerk reactions and herd mentality.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 20/01/2025 12:58

i dont thiink herd mentality can be helped
say anything out of the ordinary
make lone accusations
you are out!

Ooh I want Traitors themed snacks now!

Those chocolates where a random one is a hot chilli 🌶️

Get ‘decorate your own’ gingerbread men and make them look like players (or just pipe hood and cloak outlines)

Croissants and several types of cheese a là breakfast

Fizzy rosé (honouring our lady Diane)
