Was it originally on BBC2?

Yep

Choux · 17/01/2025 14:11

Sorry - am wrong! It was always on BBC1 but I think series 1 was on quite late on Mon- Weds so less prime time.

Yes I remember season 1 was in November - December. I think it would be better shown over Halloween time, but is nice to have something to look forward to in January

For the next banishment I vote the black net curtain that was dragging a Claudia about with it all through the last episode

Yes, the 'originals' always seem suspicious of the people who arrive late, and there seems to be a sense of them thinking the late arrivals don't deserve to win because they haven't been there the whole way through.

If everyone refused to get off the train what would the production team have done? Maybe come up with another way to force 3 people out.

Harry from S2 was on Uncloaked last week and said he'd suggest they all stay on the train. I mean, what are they going to do? Send them all home? 😆

Also it could be Alexander.... Jake was clear he didn't trust him, so he was the only one in the Doll's House that he didn't tell.

And at the point Jake accuses him of being a traitor, Alexander tells him he saw him find the shield in the teddy bear.

I think Leon has changed towards Leanne in particular because he's realised that she's really just not very nice.

Agree

Dulra · 17/01/2025 15:11

CaraCameleon · 17/01/2025 14:40

Agree

Yes I agree too. He's trying to avoid her. Her behaviour towards him at the breakfast table was awful she is very immature and childish with her interactions with people, lacking some social emotional skills.
I wonder does she see it as she's watching back?
I think Leon looks shattered. They're about a week in with broken sleep and daily drama, I'd be a briar by now. The death match has maybe tipped him over a bit. He just needs a good night's sleep and a big hug.

He’s 37.

I was wondering why some people seemed to have all this biographical information, and then I realised it's on the BBC website! www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/mediapacks/the-traitors-series-3-contestants/

happinessischocolate · 17/01/2025 15:35

Yeah, ripping the head of a teddy bear and then pulling all the stuffing out whilst standing directly outside the dolls house shed wasn't exactly discrete 😂

Hanto · 17/01/2025 12:26

You could just buy an Eeyore stuffed toy that moans

‘I don’t know what’s going on!’

’Am I LOSING my MARBLES???’

’I’M a BIG PERSONALITY, ME!’

when you push a button.

I don’t need the clutter 😂

whaddayawannado · 17/01/2025 15:47

I could hardly bear to watch the bit with all those dolls, I found them really creepy. Eww.

Totally normal behaviour 😆

It was certainly an odd choice to wear for a walk in the woods!

IMPORTANT AND SERIOUS POST

Everyone is making a big deal of Charlotte's assumed accent. She apparently speaks normally to camera (and people are saying she sounds posh).

BUT

personally I can't tell the difference! I definitely hear a Welsh accent all the time - the sort of faint accent that someone with a Welsh mum might have, regardless of where they were brought up. Does anyone else think this?

Also, didn't the doll tell Jake to look near the teddy? Not to go feral and rip the head off? (The shield was actually under it).

Snowmanscarf · 17/01/2025 16:17

I thought Leon had changed his attitude because he suddenly realised fully that they were playing a game, and that there are no real friends in the castle - anyone could be a traitor. Being nominated for the dearth card game made him realise this. Consequently, he was reassessing everyone, including Leanne.

bookmarket · 17/01/2025 16:21

witchycat2 · 17/01/2025 13:48

Not sad to see Anna go she annoyed me how she thought it was all about her and she was playing a clever one but she really wasn't that key.

She thought she was the main character

Also, she has the only useful clue and wasn't bright enough to share it. The 'strong independent woman's wording on the traitors invitation was the only really clued they could all have used. If Elen hadn't already suggested an all female traitor cast, Anna could be forgiven for overlooking it, but for her not to see it as noteworthy or not to mention it is frustrating. Again, it would have made the game more interesting.

bratsummer · 17/01/2025 16:25

Everyone’s ages flashes up on the screen alongside their name when they’re doing their bits to camera.

Yes, the poor bear ! I was actually quite alarmed, like when he chucked the chair over. He is FAR too competitive.

DazzlingCuckoos · 17/01/2025 16:53

I'm sure someone else has commented this but I love that someone finally noticed the stag with Claudia's fringe!

Maybe they'll eventually spot the painting!

whaddayawannado · 17/01/2025 16:57

They really aren't the most observant lot when it comes to their surroundings, are they - I clocked that stag with the fringe quite early on. I think they've shown it quite a few times on screen already.

CaraCameleon · 17/01/2025 13:35

Why would an English teacher be expected to cover Maths lessons? I think some people on this thread are quite naive about the quality of teaching staff.

I was an English teacher. I had to cover Maths lessons, PE lessons, Science lessons, French lessons etc. etc. Schools don't have spare specialist subject teachers just lying around!

witchycat2 · 17/01/2025 17:11

More to the point, I'm not sure if it's possible to get on a course to gain a teaching qualification without having at least Grade C (or whatever it is these days) at Maths GCSE

Strangely i don't hear a Welsh accent any of the time - I keep screaming she never sounds Welsh why does she think she does? And why does she think she's fooling anyone

Obviously I'm not hearing it

witchycat2 · 17/01/2025 17:15

Amanda was funny about Charlotte's 'welsh' accent on Uncloaked last night Grin
