I've spent the last few evenings binge watching P&P and then S&S. I'm still in the mood for more.

I recently rewatched Brideshead revisited so that's out. Not keen on upstairs downstairs or Downton. What else is there?

Im a big fan of period dramas. I watched Dickensian over Christmas and loved it.

If you have Netflix,I highly recommend The Empress which is a German production with subtitles about the Austrian Emperess Sisi.

@MissMarplesNiece I went to Vienna last November and visited the Hofburg and Schobrunn Palaces where the Empress lived. She was quite a fascinating person.

I loved this so much, really missed it after it finished. Have watched it all twice now.

The BBC(?) Wives & Daughters with Tom Hollander was amazing but I’ve never seen it repeated!

My all time favourite is Sense and Sensibility. I love the 'good will out' element and the wonderful voices. I have a relative who looks like the late Alan Rickman. The 'cottage' would suit me too.
