I know this is a fictional character and I need to get out more but...
I thought Preacher (who is supposed to be this noble character)'s behaviour at the wedding was appalling.
First he binned the speech he'd written ( and presumably planned, thought carefully about) because some mad girl he is dating (they aren't even engaged) got a bit teary about it because of her own relationship history.
AND then (worse), he gave a speech at the wedding of his oldest and best friend that was ENTIRELY directed to this woman. F8ck Jack and Mel, what's more important is keeping this chick onside. Never mind that this day is about them and his chance to properly honour his friend.
It really annoyed me because it was shitty behaviour by any standard but from a character held up to be a 'good guy'. Nah. Did not like this.
Yes I need to get out more.
