Rose's crawler pots are amazing but sadly I don't have the pennies. I liked Rose.

Pancakeflipper · 12/01/2025 20:42

Liked James and Jonathan's.

Pancakeflipper · 12/01/2025 20:42

Francesca is quietly brilliant.

James' is amazing again.

might as well just give him the top prize for the whole show now-unless he has some kind of breakdown, which I dont see happening.

AlicePottery · 12/01/2025 20:44

Clouds for the win though, absolutely beautiful!

elgreco · 12/01/2025 20:50

Clouds one better than James's by a long way.

stilldumdedumming · 12/01/2025 20:50

I agree on the clouds hike clock. But who's going home?

SereneFish · 12/01/2025 20:50

I don't know which I liked best!

I think the Moulin Rouge one and Jonathan's were the least attractive, but the judges seemed to like them. And the clocks fitted so they are probably safe.

Pancakeflipper · 12/01/2025 20:50

Clouds my favourite. I did think Victor's was very cute.

The castle one was abit boring.

HeadNorth · 12/01/2025 20:52

I love Rose’s pots, really dynamic & striking.

Some beautiful clocks & maybe not a winner but I love the dog clock, so cute and fun.

stilldumdedumming · 12/01/2025 20:53

I suppose the technicalities of the build are important so if the clock doesn't fit then surely you're on dodgy ground?

Chrysanthemum5 · 12/01/2025 20:54

I think if the clock doesn't fit then you can't be potter of the week

AlicePottery · 12/01/2025 20:57

Next week doesn't look great 😕, really feels like they've run out of sensible ideas for the challenges and are just making random stuff up (a children's ceramic Noah's ark toy...)

HeadNorth · 12/01/2025 20:58

Correct decision but I think Immy was lucky. It justified keeping everyone in on Week 1 as there were far clearer reasons for someone to go home this week.

Qwerty111 · 12/01/2025 21:00

I loved the winning clock - it was the one that looked most like the clock was the important bit of the piece.

And thank you @CharlotteStreetW1 !

Toddlerteaplease · 12/01/2025 21:07

I've been on Olivia's cycle tours: so good she does well. She's lovely.

Toddlerteaplease · 12/01/2025 21:08

Hope

OccasionalHope · 12/01/2025 23:01

Most of the clocks were lovely.

Piggywaspushed · 14/01/2025 20:44

Just finished watching. What lovely, lovely people. I felt really emotional.

I loved Chris. Loved is gentle voice and manner - not your stereotype of an army type at all.

I love Jonathan. His cycling story is inspiring and I love his dry manner and banter with Keith.

James and Steve are brilliant. Such talent.

Agree with that it would have been hard to send someone home

Did anyone watch the programme about Keith and his partner doing up a Welsh chapel? I saw a few episodes then it sort of suddenly stopped. I keep checking to see when it's back on.

Just saw a post on Instagram with Keith saying they'd filmed season two which will be on our screens this year and that they're doing a season 3 too. They haven't moved in yet.

Thank you @AlicePottery

AlviarinAesSedai · 15/01/2025 23:22

If you are local to County Durham, Chris does pottery classes in Esh Winning.
I would love to try but I would be a disaster.

Turophilic · 15/01/2025 23:46

Jonathan is killing me, they have to keep him in at all costs.

Late to the pottery party this series!
