I know. If it helps we knew each other into adulthood (although she emigrated with her husband a while ago and we lost touch). Another friend and I both apologised profusely for our idiocy as kids and she forgave us and we got on well. There was no excuse for not knowing better.

I was just thinking this year is the first that I don't really dislike anyone but then I saw the the new camp mates 😂😂

I'm sure we've all done and said stupid things in our youth, without the hindsight of age and experience.
Hopefully we all learn from our mistakes and make better choices as we go through life.

Think Maura is good fun, she seems able to laugh at herself and Richard is very droll.
They'll bring some life into main camp as it was getting monotonous, with everyone being too nicey nicey.

I’m not familiar with Maura, but I like her already for taking off her makeup. I’m finding the made up faces really distracting this year. I know it’s a reality show but even so, I like the suspension of belief that enables me to imagine they really are having a jungle experience.

Seeing all the false lashes and tattooed eyeliner, etc., is taking me out of the vibe.

I just loved how they had to put the boiler suits on and the eye shades away etc once they knew the others were coming.
It just made me laugh!

Surely it would be easier to just wear the boiler suits all the time? Maybe they're not allowed to.

I think they must not be allowed to, otherwise it makes no sense, it's not like their other clothes are super great.

It's just fashion though isn't it these big lips / fillers / eyelashes etc. My boys laugh at my terrible 80s perms and 80s clothes in photos, but it was just how it was.
I like the eyebrow trend and have mine done ( subtly) and I think on some it looks nice with the more outrageous eyelashes.
I wouldn't have Botox myself, but maybe if I had the money I would give it a go.
I'm sure the whole trend will fade in time anyway. Fashion moves on
