I don't think he won, but he's an amiable chap who I've grown to quite like over the years, and always gets stuck in. Dean is a snivelling ratbag.

So I used to read Jane’s column years ago in the early-mid 2000’s, I enjoyed her novels and she usually wrote a good column. I’ll never forget that she wrote an anti-abortion one once. Something along the lines of “We always hear about the feelings of the mother - but there’s one persons who’s feelings are left out in the abortion conversation. And that’s the baby”. It was controversial at the time IIRC but I was furious and never read her column again. So I’m not buying that she’s some crusading feminist

Having done a quick Google Jane is campaigning for a reduction to the abortion limit! Apparently get many years ago she received a letter from a nurse distressed after seeing a baby aborted at 23 weeks old being “Left by a sink struggling to breath before dying”.
Now my respect for Jane as a journalist is lost completely. The fact she believed that nonsense when doing about 0.2 seconds of research will tell you that is NOT how abortion works in this country and is the long peddled dangerous myth of anti-choicers. And Jane fell for it and ran with it. What a shame

I agree (and have also said this before) that when someone has 2 trials on the trot, they are exempt from 2.

I can't make up my mind about Maura. I don't dislike her but I don't love her. There's something about her I can't put m finger on that I don't like.

Also annoyed with Jane tonight. She was pathetic. 'What is this, the 1950s? Why are the WOMEN doing the washing up?!' She has done other jobs in the camp, and is she saying the washing up should only be done by men then? Bit sexist there Jane.

Honestly, it's 'feminists' like her who give women (and actual fucking feminists) a bad name. She reminds me of a couple of tedious (perma single) women I used to work with, who used to shake their head and roll their eyes, because I did the housework and washing and cooking. (I worked 2.5 days a week, DH worked full time.) And I did most of the childcare.

'Why isn't HE doing the cooking? Why are YOU doing it? Why isn't HE doing the housework and his own washing? Why are YOU looking after the children more than him la la la la la...' Fact is, (don't shoot me down) but I was happy to do it. I didn't care. I worked part time, and the DC were at school, and the 'chores' didn't take that long. But they spoke to me like I was a fucking moron because I did more domestic work in the home than DH, and more childcare.

I still do (minus the childcare, as they left a few years ago.) But I don't mind. I know that doesn't sit well with the radical feminists, but the fact is, it's got fuck all to do with anyone else.

Vertigo and balance issues can be an effect of Bells Palsy so I guess that's why Tulisa is exempt. It would be too dangerous if she had an attack while at height. H&S, risk assessments and all that. When she skydived, she was strapped to an instructor so if she passed out, she would still be 'safe'.

Any respect I had forJane (which wasn’t much) has been totally lost as she made Barry feel so bad about a bit of washing up. The choice came from a good place and then to say she was only joking was itself a joke. Then when she was asked what she would like to have done said it’s too late now - grow up you stupid cow!
