I have to admit that I cried at that. It's been such a long time coming and I do get that while it's frustrating for us, they have to demonstrate how long and slow these situations can be in real life. I know of a similar situation with a friend of a friend (perp is a copper, now jailed) because it's been years for that to happen. I am so relieved for Belle.

I haven't watched the episode yet. I've needed to try to be careful re: the Tom/Belle storyline. Did more difficult things happen between them today? I'm wondering whether or not to watch today's episode.

You don’t need to watch if it’s difficult for you but it’s good news. He’s been charged and DS Foy told Belle he was charged in the pub

@Autumnleaves82 nothing actually happened between Tom and Belle but Tom showed his true colours to Amelia. He's been charged with coercive control and assault on Belle after the police recovered all the camera footage on his laptop. The charges against Belle have been dropped.

I'm so relieved Tom's been charged, I did miss a lot of it because it's not a storyline I wanted to see, but hopefully it's over now but........like others i don't think it will be.
