CJ is never going to accept him. I'm starting to think they're both as bad as each other.

Just caught up.
At least the ixperts are offering an 'intervention' for CJ and Jesse but I won't hold my breath. Faults on both sides but I just can't warm to CJ. Am I right in thinking it was her Mum suggested she do this?

And then couple swap next week? They barely know their own partner!

I'm just catching up.

There have been two couples in this series who look older and act more mature than the men they are with- Red and Nate, who have called it a day, and CJ and Jesse who are moving quickly to where Red and Nate were. Both do not fancy each other and both find each other irritating.

It's interesting to compare this with the UK MAFS where no-one volunteered to leave even though they felt just the same (Caspar and Emma in particular, Shitlid and Polly though they did get on well as friends).

I wonder if they are pressured more in the UK one to stay in, a lot of 'I'm here to learn'.

Pairing older looking women with fairly immature or young looking men (Jesse and his laugh are not working for me at all, he seems dull as ditchwater and she's like a young Margaret Thatcher) is such a bad idea because the women very much want kids, want to settle time, and are trigger happy not to want to waste this time on men disinterested in them.

I felt sorrier for Nate and Red who seemed like ok people separately, just with absolutely no spark and nothing in common. CJ and Jesse are both in finance, but both are just quite boring and superficial, talking about wanting children doesn't make you 'deep'- and they have nothing to chat about.

Jesse's new teeth are terrible, if you see the teeth he had in his application video, he looked much nicer there and wasn't grinning inanely and laughing all the time.

Just finishing the episode.

Sam and James are still adorable. He's so open and vulnerable and lovely and they're into each other and I want them to stay married or get married for real and have a wonderful family.

Neck Curtains and Kara are weird. I think his therapising of her is not helping and I don't think he can stop. He would have been so.good with Reiki Red because she is also into the woo woo stuff.

Piripi and Steph are sweet and his openness has worked but she is wary and still thinks he's a child.

Jesse and CJ are weirder than weird. He needs a toothbrush, she doesn't get it, as he wants to.go back where there is a toothbrush. She takes some space, he gets upset and calls her names. She then accuses him of being immature and she's obviously very upset that she has to stay. I think a lot more happened that we're being told.

Roll on tomorrow.

Nate would be just fine with the right person, he's only had two relationships in his life and probably would bond strongly with someone.

I feel bad for Steph having Piripiri, because he's not bad enough to outright reject but she knows a man with a cheating history and who is a bit uninteresting probably isn't the right match for her. He...I can't make out, he certainly feels sorry for himself a lot.

I don't think Mike and Reiki Red would have made a good match at all, he fancies himself as a player and she's not conventionally attractive enough (in a standard way, she has a good look and amazing hair but he won't count that compared to a tall classical blonde). They would have also been competing to be the most woo-est and neither really listens to other people a whole amount; I feel Reiki Red could have drawn more out of Nate, but because she knew he didn't fancy her, she just didn't bother. Mike and Reiki Red would have been a fun pairing to watch, though!

CJ is the only girl there who has seriously messed with her face, the nose job, the strange angles (filler?), she looks older than 31 and Jesse acts about 12 so the whole thing seems stranger.

I agree and they would have lasted longer but driven us all mad.

Didn't realise that Jesse had new teeth.
I'm a bit weirded out by CJ's teeth, they are just a bit too white and a bit too long, somehow.
So something else they've got in common 😁❤️😁

Final thought on last night; everyone looks so much more attractive when they're in happy mode. Not that they should fake it, but there's quite a lot of sad faces there.

Surely ‘don’t forget the toothbrush’ needs to be in there.
