Is it me, or do others think it is all a bit Stepford Wives? Everyone is so painfully polite and well mannered, that I'm struggling to believe any of it is real, particularly with the beautiful backdrop (which is more compelling than the contestants at the moment).

No, I like the civilised behaviour. I was appalled by the behaviour on the recent UK series. It’s really nice to see people treat one another with some consideration.

I agree. They are so far basically behaving like the people I know and spend time with. The British lot were just unnerving.

I love that they can show this at 8 o'clock. Many of the UK lot seemed unable to utter any sentence without swearing. It was wearying.
