The Wheel - bottom of the leader board fix?

I love The Wheel, so not wanting to be negative , but am starting to wonder if some of the celebrities are actively trying to be last so that they can help with the big money question. Bright Jordan tonight and Richard Madley a few weeks ago, seems a bit sus to me .

Yes I totally agree. Same with Michael Sheen the other week the questions were clearly set up for him.

I thought this tonight and was happy if they were. Delighted that lady won. She was so happy.

Yes, I said to DH it was clearly a fix that Michael Sheen was at the bottom, he thinks that Sheen did it himself so he could get the glory of being picked for the big money question.

Am always very happy for the contestants, it’s such a joyful show in general. But am starting to wonder about the transparency.

The wonderful Ally McCoist did this last series. Sorry Ally but you did! You can't possibly have known the answer to that winning question, and known fewer of the other answers than any of the other celebs, you're a font of general knowledge! That was the first time I noticed it. He was very pleased to win almost 100k for a nice Scottish nurse

Although I feel like Jonathon Ross is quite competitive and don’t think he would do that.

I very much had strong doubts about that ( even though that’s the format ) but celebrities deliberately dumbing down so they are the focus at the end seems new for this series.

Yeah, we've been wondering this. In fact, on a recent episode, I'm sure a celeb said something about not pressing the button (to record their answer) so I suspect that's what happens wrong than deliberately answer the wrong ones.

Not sure about the randomness of the spins because there are quite a few episodes when some celebs have a really easy night and never get picked. Do they all get paid the same fee?

It's more exciting tv to have a big win so they couldn't risk always leaving that to the thickest celebs.

But all of the celebs still have to answer every question (they just do it on a keypad). The final leaderboard is based on how they have answered every question, not just the ones where they are engaging with the contestant.

The Ramsays should be bottom tonight after that Who was the monarch during WW2 so can't test the theory tonight.
