S2 starts tomorrow on Apple TV featuring some excellent new cast additions from Killing Eve- Fiona Shaw and Owen McDonnell.

Trailer looks like it’ll be as good as S1

What ever it is jumps up and runs away….🤔

Oh😂 I missed that!

snarkygal · 28/11/2024 12:07

yeah | didn't spot that either!

Tiramisusie · 28/11/2024 14:42

It’s really bothering me that they stole that poor bunny and then it got away - it’ll have no chance. I feel like that was meant to be for light relief but I found it really upsetting.

Not convinced the police can arrest someone for one set of charges and then randomly start questioning them about other stuff.

Overall this feels like it’s going off the boil - this episode was really not great.

Definitely something fishy about Ian. Maybe the cash was for him? And what was that custody challenge about that was on the PC in the station? Maybe he was recording stuff on his hidden phone in the house to use as collateral against Grace? Although not sure what you’d hear of use while someone is sat on a bog!

I hope the next episode starts pulling some of this together. How many episodes are there?

The custody thing was presumably that policeman wanting to stop his daughter being taken to Australia. Irrelevant sideplot stuff.

FrenchandSaunders · 28/11/2024 14:46

The policeman is horrible to the younger cop isn't he. I know she's a bit irritating but even so.

Ah yes

Donttellempike · 28/11/2024 22:39

I know it’s not UK but it can’t be that different surely .

The lack of cautions, the police interviewing of everyone and anyone not being recorded etc is annoying me. Police can’t just rock up everywhere’s and start questioning people. It’s crazy!!

And any confession obtained like that would be inadmissible anyway

police procedure is never shown accurately on TV but this is off the scale 😂😂😂

I love Sharon Horgan but this side of things is starting to feel like really lazy writing.

I'm the same. I feel like I'm missing an awful lot and it's not hanging together for me. I need to go back and watch it over, but can't be bothered. I'll have to find some recaps instead. And sometimes, I'm watching, but something else is coming on terrestrial tv and so I stop it to watch something else, which I did last night. I'm up to the part where Becka has to escape from Angelica's house after she's returned unexpectedly.

dayswithaY · 01/12/2024 17:20

Lots of loose ends - Ursula was caught stealing prescription drugs from work and faces a enquiry. Now the sisters all know about her addiction but nothing more said about her job (has she been suspended? Has she kicked her addiction?)

Bibi and Nora were meant to be starting IVF, where even is Nora? Angelica told her that Bibi struggled to bond with the baby last time and they had a row but we’ve heard nothing since.

Eva’s menopause coach?

The body in the suitcase (JP’s Dad), Min’s suspicious death in the cold store?

Roger seems to have forgotten about Grace and the murder he helped her with, now he’s back with a spring in his step and asking Ursula out on a date.

Really hoping Sharon Horgan is just setting us up for an amazing ending and it’s not just down of lack of an actual plot line.

The thing that's bugging me is Ian's phone that was hidden in the vanity unit. He's shown up, but unless I missed it, and if I did, please fill me in, nothing got said about that.

I don’t think it was ever confirmed that it was his.

it was an assumption the sisters made and Grace seemed pretty unbothered when she saw it.

I’m guessing it’ll come up again.

SisterMichael · 03/12/2024 12:24

I’m finding this quite weak compared to the first series. After having to leave the sauna, the desperate need to pee, the throwing up, Becka reveals she’s pregnant. What a shock! Feels like a soap level of subtlety.

Netaporter · 04/12/2024 09:08

Ooh it hots up today….!

I’d have given up if you hadn’t posted this! I’m halfway through the episode and currently completely bored to tears.

Tiramisusie · 04/12/2024 13:01

Really not enjoying this any more. This episode was boring and then just utterly ridiculous. I miss the good, comical storytelling from series 1.

FrenchandSaunders · 04/12/2024 13:27

It isn't as good but still watchable I think. Bit silly though.

dayswithaY · 05/12/2024 18:09

It’s a shame because there wasn’t really a second series in it, the original was just one series only because the story came to a natural end.

tennissquare · 11/12/2024 22:19

It seems to be getting weaker by the episode.

Frozensnow · 11/12/2024 22:29

I’m watching it but getting bored if I’m honest. I also think season one should have been it- everything was wrapped up.

there are a lot of loose threads here to tie up in the next 2 episodes- the phone in graces bathroom, Ursula being suspended, bibi’s baby storyline etc. I really thought episode 6 would have been faster paced than it was. Hopefully the next 2 have more going on. I’ve thought Ian was dodgy for a while and still do but I don’t massively care anymore

tennissquare · 11/12/2024 23:15

It's so predictable, the hospital scene, the video camera / old person's house scene, you could predict what would happen.

DuncinToffee · 12/12/2024 17:00

Yes, I am not enjoying it much either.

The Eva and Ian thing is annoying and Becca's pregnancy is a non story really.

Nothing more about the body in the suitcase but maybe there will be a bit more about Grace's car crash now Houlihan is investigating it further

Will Angelica show up again, she was wearing a life vest when she went overboard

Yes. So she should have bobbed straight back up surely? Plot hole central

Netaporter · 18/12/2024 09:17

Well today’s episode was quite the watch. I’m still enjoying it.
