Oh my god, there's someone next week who looks like Bob Carolgees if Bob Carolgees was doing a comedy sketch about an Italian opera singer. Hope he is a brilliant cook.

They redeemed themselves from the other day. Onwards!!

Has anyone read Grace’s book Hungry? I recommend. But wow did I howl when she wrote about her dad passing.

Yes I just finished it. It was amazing she must be exactly my age it unlocked a lot of memories. I would love to be friends with her
Great thread ladies. I'm sitting here lurking and chuckling

Just caught up and really enjoyed the round. I would have hated the offal challenge. I notice they didn’t go to heavy in making offal the star, maybe because a couple of the chefs had never cooked with it before.

These foragers must have tiny restaurants or are they foraging at the wholesalers? Though there is one this week working at a farm.

Well I managed to watch that while missing nearly all of it. The cat was being sick for the first bit and then I fell asleep during the judging. Who went out?

We have hogweed in the garden. Not giant, but regular. Never thought to cook it!

Ian went out after the first round, and Pippa after cooking for the critics.

Thanks. Me and the cat sat in bed and watched it again on Sunday morning. She avoided being sick this time.

Evening all.

EsmaCannonball · 18/11/2024 21:04

I love when they introduce Gregg as 'Masterchef judge.' It reminds me of that time on Strictly when they introduced all the pros as world champions and national champions but when they got to Janette they had to say 'winner of the Strictly Christmas Special.'

Theeyeballsinthesky · 18/11/2024 21:04

Ah the kitchen machine of death!!

ilovesooty · 18/11/2024 21:04

Shut up Gregg
