I just knew Shirley would save Wynne and I think Anton chose to make the decision hers. Shayne was robbed imho.

Oh and Ball and Boe were so out of tune at times it made my ears ache.

Chris gets an extra point from the judges (maybe not Craig) because he's blind. (IMO)

Which is fair enough, because not being able to see what it's supposed to look like obviously makes it incredibly hard, and he's doing brilliantly.

He's not my favourite, and I don't want him to win, but I am impressed with both him and Dianne.

Hands up who's ever seen a "joyous" rumba?

Surely that is what every dance-off is? More so in Shane's case, given how many times he was in the dance-off.

@LuluBlakey1 I'm not convinced his unpopular so much as forgettable which I don't mean as harshly as it comes across. It's not that he is forgettable per se but every week he looked different. For example last week I wondered why Nancy and some bloke were dressed up as Sergeant Pepper Beatles and where were the other two. I'd forgot she was partnered with him, forgot he was in the show and didn't recognise him which would have reminded me that of course he was in the show.

That sort of thing happened a lot. I wouldn't recognise him and wonder who was the new dancer in the Claudatorium. Being chameleon like with your appearance can be a really good thing but I think it may have gone against him in this competition. I didn't dislike him, enjoyed some of his dances but he didn't make enough of an impact for me to want to vote for him over others I enjoyed and he's also very earnest which I find hard to deal with.

Blah, blah, I don't think he was unpopular but with the above and people falling head over heels in lurve with grubby Pete it was never going to be easy for him to stay in the show.

Oh, apparently Shayne had mentioned trying to get his Mum over to Blackpool before. Missed that. But my 3 votes didn't save him regardless.
His Mum did see him and Nancy rehearse their AS in person on his birthday, so there's that ("Get here.")
Personally, the financial incentive of reaching Blackpool would be more of a motivation for me but I'm terrible. Muriel
Not sure why Shayne didn't gel just because of initial honesty about wanting to win, I found that refreshing, or why judges low scored him initially over choreo - that always winds me up, but he ended up below Wynne on average (due to overscoring of the latter tbh).
It could have been either last night.
We know that Jamie's vote has held up.
Shayne's speech was very gracious. Initially, he'd been surprised at the pairing so it's nice if they gelled as a couple in training.

Shayne danced better, but I guess they picked Wynne for entertainment value next week.

I'd like to know who chooses which dances the couples do each week. Giving Pete couples choice literally guaranteed him getting to Blackpool.

If Wynne does a Charleston, he'll probably be safe for another week.

I like Michael Ball and Alfie Boe individually but together no.To me their voices just don't blend and AB shouts over MB.Painful.

Shayne should have stayed, but he suffered from people feeling he was bugging himself up at the start of the series. I think he was excited to be in it, rather than bragging, but it’s all down to perception. Such a shame when Pete’s waft got him through and Chris will certainly be kept in until Dianne’s parents are over here, at the expense of a much better dancer.

He really wasn't better. It was noticeable that he was thrown when he made the mistake.

Boe and Ball should stick to Les Mis.

I thought Wynne did much more actual dancing than Shayne. Their dance was all Nancy. I'd have saved Wynne.

I’d started warming to Shayne and enjoyed his rumba - he did more than a lot of men manage. But also enjoy Wynne and he’s DD’s favourite so she’s happy at least.

He does the annoying Gino de campo thing of mispronouncing words for comedy effect.

Apart from Craig, the entire judging panel needs to be changed. Shirley and Anton are dreadful, just dreadful, and need to go- Motsi has slightly improved this year- but the way the tens are being thrown out like confetti, and people being saved by the judges for their personality rather than ability, just makes the whole scoring side of things ridiculous and ruins the whole competition.

I don't know how to explain it, but there doesn't seem to be the same structure or feel of the show ,or something, as there use to be a couple of years ago. Something has gone, (a certain essence, character or pizzazz, or something), from the whole show overall and this year it is very evident.
