There was tons of choreography in Wynne’s dance. But Shayne spent a lot of his just standing still with Nancy dancing in front of him.

Craig saying he’d save Shane because he’s the better dancer. No, as Motsi quickly said, you’re only supposed to rate how they did in the dance-off.

That might have been what Craig meant but he didn’t give me that impression.

Who would have predicted before the first episode that Wynne and Chris would still be in after week 8? It’s a bit like Bill Bailey, and he eventually won.

Yes I agreed with Ant on & Shirley too, there was more dance/steps content in Wynne & Katya's routine, even though I didn't like this week's performance compared with previous weeks.

I don't agree that Shayne was so much better than Wynne. The way they danced in the dance off, with both making errors it makes sense that the vote was split. If you look at how they voted for them when they first danced on Saturday night I think Anton and Shirley favoured Wynne then too. Not by mad points but an 8 instead of a 7.

Neither dance was breathtaking because neither man is at that level of skill - yet - but I think Wynne's was more entertaining. If it had been Shayne and Jamie in the dance off unless Jamie had pulled some mad magic out of the hate then Shayne would almost certainly have gone through.

Shayne is a better dancer than Wynne and both of them are much better dancers than Pete. Why the hell is he still there?

I think saving Wynne was the right decision. Shayne’s rumba was dull whereas Wynne’s dance was more interesting to watch. I’ve really enjoyed watching Wynne this year so am glad he’s through. Hopefully Pete and Jamie will go next as I’m bored of both of them now (although I do like Jowita).

Craig and Motsi, having awarded them the same points, had more wiggle room.
If both couples made errors in the DO that would explain Anton and Shirley's decision.
I gave Shayne all 3 votes as I thought he'd been undermarked, as well as being given rumba and death slot.
Katya has done well getting Wynne to Blackpool.
He'll get his Blackpool Bonus and get to dance on the bouncy dancefloor. She can be happy with the job she's done. But watch him and Pete get chucked under the tram Saturday plus JB get rick rolled over too.

Agreed, but they are all childish at the end of Saturday's show, when they announce the voting is open, it's embarrassing, what some performers will do for £££.

It'll be interesting to see what Wynne is given next week - Latin = they want him out but Ballroom = keep him in.

He looked the part this weekend and actually danced in a rumba which is unusual for a man.

Vito can do no wrong in my eyes which is frankly ridiculous of me, but I just adore him. It's definitely a crush but it's not an out and out sex crush which makes me feel better about myself. Him being in celebrity Masterchef just before this year's Strictly is what pushed me over the edge into crushing on a man young enough to be my son.

I know they didn’t announce all the dances, but are we ever going to get a Charleston or a jive.

Did anyone think Tess looked particularly upset on the results show tonight?

I an old enough to be his granny but I have a crush on him too. Not really about sex although he is incredibly sexy but just that he is so lovely and bouncy and I bet he gives great hugs.

I agreed with the decision - Wynne's dance had more content and was much more entertaining.

I've just realised that Sarah and Chris got the same mark. I love Chris and think that what he and Diane are doing is amazing, but surely his technique is nowhere near Sarah's? Are the judges marking to his capabilities - taking into account the fact he can't look at himself in a mirror when rehearsing or at his partner when they perform? And if so, should they be? I genuinely don't know the answer to that.
