Watching this, it's absolutely horrific.

Awful domestic violence in front of the children, so traumatic for them.

Poor guy could not leave due to threats of his abuser not letting him see the kids and false allegations, absolutely awful.

I watched it last night. She was absolutely vile to him, and her kids. By abusing him in front of them, she was actually abusing them too. Horrible, horrible person. I hope she never gets to see her kids again.

So cleaver of him to get cameras - the impact on the kids must have been horrendous.

Absolutely shocking levels of abuse, she remained defiant to the very end that she was the victim. Those poor children.

I've seen these documentaries twice now, and they disgust as well as upset me just as much now as the first time I saw them.

That poor guy, I appreciate his choice to wish Sheree all the best in spite of the habitual abuse, but oh my God I couldn't have done that if I'd been him.

Some of things that woman did...Christ alive

She must be psychotic to have done what she did

I wonder if she was ever just nice and normal and loving?

The pissing/shitting stuff is beyond my comprehension

I watched this months ago and I can still see it in my head . What a nice guy and what a fortunate woman to have a lovely family and home . The cruelty unbelievable. Surely it's mental health no "normal " person does that to another. Those poor children . Thank God for the help he got from his friend and a good policeman . Hope his life is good now and the children safe well and happy

I watched it last night, the poor guy! But does anyone know what will happen once she's released? Will she get contact time with her kids or anything?

What a bitch that woman is. That poor man, my heart went out to him

DP and I watched it last night. I was nearly in tears watching the parts with the children. He must have had some serious self restraint not to hit her back. Listening to the police recounting what he said when she was arrested was heartbreaking. When he said about how she hadn't assaulted him for a month and then the officer said "but you said she punched you yesterday" and he said "oh that wasn't assault, that was just a punch". He had normalised the punching. So sad.
She was so arrogant and sure she'd get away with it that she didn't plead guilty until the last minute to avoid longer jail time. I hope she never gets to see her kids again
