Yah it's back. Easy watching. Love this

The popular BBC (https://metro.co.uk/tag/bbc-2/?ico=autolinkktv-soapsP22LNK1) series, which follows the lives of residents and the local police department (https://metro.co.uk/2022/01/31/what-is-hope-street-and-what-is-it-about-16018901/) of fictional Northern Irish seaside town Port Devine (https://metro.co.uk/2022/01/31/where-is-hope-street-filmed-and-is-port-devine-a-real-place-16016929/), b
urst onto our screens three years ago.

The first series dealt with the mysterious arrival of
Detective Constable Leila Hussain (https://metro.co.uk/2022/01/31/hope-street-what-is-new-detective-leilas-secret-and-whats-she-hiding-16017317/)

while the second series focused more on new detective Al Quinn (Stephen Hagan), who wasn’t the nice guy he pretended to be.

The third series, which Metro deemed its best to date (https://metro.co.uk/2024/03/15/hope-street-series-3-review-bbc-drama-returns-best-season-yet-19752644/), saw Finn’s world turned upside down as he discovered that mum Concepta (Brid Brennan) wasn’t his bi
ological mum, while newcomer DI Jo Lipton (Karen Hassan) won the heart of Callum McCarthy (Niall Wright).

With a major cliffhanger – quite literally – having left the fates of a number of series regulars up in the air, fans have no doubt been eager to find out what happens next – and there’s not long to wait, with Series 4 debuting in Northern Ireland on Monday, October 28 at 7pm and bbc 2 Friday 2pm

Just me hoping that now Finn isn't in it none of the O'Hares will be?

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/11/2024 15:17

I wondered if he will come back

They certainly seem to lose their di

Think had a new one most series's

OP posts:
diddl · 05/11/2024 16:05

They certainly seem to lose their di

Yes!

Love that the new one is the mum from Derry Girls!

deeahgwitch · 06/11/2024 08:56

I missed the first episode so I have no idea who is who.
It's a but slow.
All those panoramic shots of the land and sea scape !

Could someone explain why the landlord of the pub isn't fazed by the fact his wife might be pregnant with another man's baby.
They were all in the pub together. Both potential fathers.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/11/2024 09:57

I think he wanted a child so much and wasn't happening with them , that he loves her and wants to be a dad

And other copper was going away so not in the picture

OP posts:
deeahgwitch · 06/11/2024 11:18

Thank you @Blondeshavemorefun
Did they do the deed or was it turkey baster stuff Smile

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/11/2024 11:22

Dtd when split up with hubby and pissed

She then regretted it

Then found preg

It might be Clint's but prob not as been ttc for ages thrb has a shag then gets preg

But I think she slept with hubby the night after when made up so both in time frame

OP posts:
diddl · 06/11/2024 19:04

I'm hoping it's Clint's baby but don't think it will be.

Maybe more realistic if it isn't?

But a bit sad for what I think of as a lightweight easy to watch "soap".

deeahgwitch · 07/11/2024 08:50

Thank you @Blondeshavemorefun
You're great at replying to questions 💐
I agree @diddl there's a real "soap" vibe about the programme.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/11/2024 10:41

Just seen Fridays

I rarely watch on the day but see it usually over the weekend

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 13/11/2024 14:09

No one commenting about Barry's death 🙀🥲

Plus they can find out the baby's dad while she's preg without risk

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 18/11/2024 09:45

Marlene is in dead and buried which started last night as the best friend

Worth watching

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 23/11/2024 19:54

Need to watch yesterdays

Who will be the daddy

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 28/11/2024 17:55

He's not the dad 🥲🥲

OP posts:
diddl · 28/11/2024 18:02

I suppose it was unlikely but it's a shame.

Maybe "Callum" wanted to stay in the series & "Jo" didn't?

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/11/2024 18:27

Maybe - I was so gutted for Clint

His little face dropped
