Yes I think she is

Me too. She's having a Tom induced mental crisis which is exactly what he wanted. I am glad the copper has her back.

JaneJeffer · 23/10/2024 19:41

Fuck the police

I've been in an abusive situation where the police didn't help me and it ended up with the IOPC. Fuck the police from me too.

TheFormidableMrsC · 23/10/2024 23:17

Sorry I'm spamming but I have little sympathy for Billy and Dawn. They walked from their jobs and security and chose to rent a massive house they don't need to prove a point. They are behaving like twats.

RaraRachael · 24/10/2024 07:50

Agree about Billy and Dawn. She was quick to blame Kim for the Rose shenigans so she'd have a pretty brass neck to go crawling back to Home Farm.

More bloody eavesdropping from Tina - she really is an awful character. Nothing like the original.

TellingBone · 24/10/2024 11:04

I've never got this board's love for Billy. Always looks to me like he's reciting his lines from a prompt on the floor.

PrincessScarlett · 24/10/2024 11:06

Yes Billy and Dawn are pretty unlikeable at the moment which is crazy when they have a son with leukemia so you'd think everyone would be rooting for them 🤷🏻‍♀️

Such a shame as they were so adorable as a couple initially.

JaneJeffer · 24/10/2024 12:24

But he's gorgeous @TellingBone Grin I
hate this story though. Surely the story of Evan having leukaemia is enough for them to deal with. But oh no let's add money troubles and ridiculous illegal boxing to it.

Same as Belle now hearing voices. Let's keep adding on more and more things to the story.

It doesn't make a better story. It takes away from what the story is about.

You have him then. I don't want him. 😅

JewelleryCat · 24/10/2024 12:47

Emmerdale is at 7pm tonight because of Pride of Britain at 8pm

JaneJeffer · 24/10/2024 12:51

I'm just waiting for my one true love to come back @TellingBone 🤭

Thanks. I might be late watching, not sure yet. Is it an hour long?

I don't find Billy attractive either nor do I think he's a great actor (sadly like most of the cast). What did he and Dawn expect? Obviously a house that size will cost a fortune in bills etc.

I agree that there's just more misery heaped on existing misery at the moment.

ilovebrie8 · 24/10/2024 13:52

Aw poor Belle how much more can they inflict on one character! Please end this...am surprised she is still standing all she has had to deal with from Tom then Zak passing away.

Agree re Billy & Dawn they've become annoying I thought Kim gave them a big sum of money she said to Dawn I have transferred a large sum to you...why?? not long ago they had it in for Kim and believed Rose and turned against her...not sure why she would suddenly bail them out financially.

Agree am not a Billy fan don't find him appealing and he is a poor actor too...

What is Caleb up to?? does he want Ruby out of the way or is he being nice?? hmmm....

Hi at last and thanks for the new thread 😆
I've been watching Emmerdale but have only just caught up with you all. I remember Zak from when I first started watching just before he left. I thought the funeral and especially the next episode were very emotional. I don't think I have cried that much for years! What really triggered it was the whole Dingle family love and support for each other which then made me start stressing about DS being an only..just when I thought I'd come to terms with it. Will he ever have a supportive family like that? 😢 Then a few days later the period hit me and the drama passed. Nothing much i can do about it now, I'm 52 and past it!

DaisyStarburst · 24/10/2024 14:52

I feel very lucky that I am in a supportive family like the Dingles, although we're not criminals! My children (adults) are not close at all though, which makes me sad so having more children doesn't necessarily make them close and supportive.

Thanks DaisyStarburst I guess that's true. My family aren't close anymore since my mum died as she was the glue that held us all together. But what really worries me is that we're older parents and it's hard not to worry about DS when we're gone. I know there are lots in the same position like on the One Child Families thread where I’ve had lots of support.

Anyway back to Emmerdale 😃.. A pp on the previous thread mentioned that the Dingles wouldn't be allowed to bury Zak where they liked and my Dad said the same. Surely there are rules on that sort of thing. Even PC Swirling didn't say anything..but I guess it wasn't the appropriate time to bring it up!

JewelleryCat · 24/10/2024 16:32

There are probably rules for burying someone but when did the Dingles ever abide by them lol

Yes good point! And PC Swirling probably knew better than to ask!

strugglingwithlife · 24/10/2024 19:05

Really don't like this new head Tina 😠

JaneJeffer · 24/10/2024 19:05

She's like the wicked witch of the west
