I'm getting the sense that this ' bekind' feel is all coming about on the back of the tragic celebrity story of the last few days.

This thread has always been lighthearted in the main and it's turning into Songs of Praise on steroids.

I doubt Hannah would care at all being referred to as Dobbie. I'm sure Polpot isn't phased what anyone has to say based on the hours of self indulgent live reels I've seen on other platforms the last week.

They are very unlikeable people for the most part - and unfortunately that will invite alot of criticism from every direction. I think we've generally been pretty decent on the whole.

The real problem, as always, is with the exploitation of people for TV viewing and we're all feeding the machine.

Somehow I don't think Polly would get the Pol Pot reference anyway ...

Personally I loathe Be Kind as it’s usually used as a defence against totally shit behaviour. I just personally don’t really like getting at appearance when their personalities have so many things to discuss. But crack on. I only apply it to myself. I only said anything as it seemed relevant to the discussion.

And I agree that really by commenting at all, and reacting the the way the production team want me to, is probably the bigger problem anyway.

Holly is all fur coat no knickers ( and no bra for the most part).

Maybe to help with the posture lessons we should just strap her into those stand up gurneys and wheel her out the door Hannibal Lecter style.

I really don't like the body/looks shaming element of these threads either..I just don't see why it's necessary when their shitty behaviour and awful personalities are surely enough to be slagging off . There were nasty comments the other day about an outfit Polly was wearing and I thought she looked really nice. We really need to move forward from slagging off any woman over a size 12 who dares to appear on TV.

So far, the only outfit I've liked was Sacha's spaghetti-fied dress. I think I was the lone voice in support, though, which says a lot about my fashion sense.
I don't give a damn what size you are though. If you're a sz 20 and want to show it all off, Go for it.
The fashion on this show is uniformly bad though and deserves to have the piss taken out of it.

We have plenty to work with behaviour wise that's for sure. Shitlid will always be such. Otherwise we had best go and rename all the threads.

I have seen hardly anything critical of someone's weight - unless that passed me by? Polly and Holly are cheap in their attire and behaviour which is the reason they're so terribly criticised I'd imagine. Emma is not despite being curvy. And I don't believe has been criticised beyond her questionable attire.

I think the majority of us can go low but we know where the line is.

Sacha's dress was lovely I agree - but then she just disappeared off the episode and we were left with Mark One cast offs.

Assassinating their attire is the best part. There's alot to work with. ( As someone who lives in charity shop attire! 🤷‍♀️)

I think Shitlid wears it best. His Chairman Mou/Kim Jong get up freshly unwrapped from it's packaging with fold creases still in place was nice.

I liked his 'let's go on a bug hunt' waistcoat the other evening too.

The whole show is an absolute car crash in editing terms. It makes no sense and they are so obsessed with creating pointless, toxic dramas that they have forgotten that if they encouraged some of these hopeless couples to leave they could actually have an enjoyable show where we get to watch the ones who stand a chance try to navigate proper relationships. I'd love that show.

This one looks as though she’s put in a hard day’s graft at Big Dave’s Brazilian Wax Emporium (and is in desperate need of a pint).

I didn't love that outfit but it was okay. I loved her jumpsuit at last week's car crash dinner party.

I agree that there's too much fucking swearing. Swearing is great when not overused. It unites the highest and the lowest but when someone is all about the fs it makes them seem, whether they are or not, inarticulate and a bit thick. Polpot swears far too much and I think it's almost certainly because she's a bit thick. And a foul mouthed bully. I'm foul mouthed but quite nice with it.

I bet a lot of us have that expression while watching ...

I used to enjoy this show years ago, but it seems different now. I'm sure it used to be just 2 or maybe 3 couples who never had dinner parties, but did meet over afternoon tea just once a few weeks into it. They lived together too, whilst working their own jobs and socialising locally with each other's real friends and family,
