I enjoyed it, it was certainly less stressful than last night.

I can’t believe she didn’t serve him anything. Even if she’d only found out that evening (which would be Lacey’s fault), she could have worked out something for him with the veggies. I can’t believe Lacey didn’t say anything like - why didn’t you do anything he can eat ma?

What the fuck is all the fluttering around her like she’s a Jane Austen character having a swoon?

Other People’s family dynamics can be so weird. Poor old Nathan. Lacey does seem sweet but the whole bunch of them seem to be sharing the same three brain cells this evening.

I found it just as stressful. Really, really felt for Nathan. Even after the mil from hell had gone, Lacey was putting him down.

Then they should have left Paige out of the dinner party. She added absolutely nothing and was probably planted to set up an awkward vibe.

If Nathan was my relative and that woman came in talking all that shit and not showing him an ounce of respect she would have been called out immediately, on the spot. She bullied him mercilessly. About his feelings, his personality, his food preferences, his humour style.

I kind of feel Paige was being exploited a little. Like they sent her in in a skimpy outfit to try to recreate the wedding bit where he thought she was the bride and said she was pretty. He did well not to rise to most of it, and i really can't blame him for the bin comment re the food, they treated him appallingly.
