I'm reading back in the thread and am only up to where the talk turns to Eve and Charlie.
I think the point of Emma and Caspar is that he's honest about his feelings, whereas she wants the groom she was paired with to fancy her like crazy, regardless of whether or not she actually fancied and wanted him. She wants her attractiveness to be validated and thinks that one individual not rating her puts her down, not that it is what it is and we can't all fancy everyone.
I also felt sorry for Adam and think the panel have it totally wrong. He's very clearly back peddled yet tried to give Polly some grace to save face, but he keeps being pushed and pushed to let it all out, despite the fact that it's clearly going to be hurtful for her. He can't win. I know they slept together on night one, but that was a risk they both took, probably after far too little conversation and far too much to drink, so they should both have taken that for exactly what it was, it was a risk on both parts and it didn't pay off for either.
