Yes @Oneandahalfonagoodday I think I read it was filmed Feb to March time?
I'm really perplexed by the Eve and Charlie situation and frankly I don't trust either of them. Eve more so.
I don't consider anything below to be spoilerish, I'd consider that to mean revealing something that will later be an essential plot point, or something yet to be screened. This post reveals nothing about people who are still in the episodes to be televised, but if you don't want to know anything from outside of the programme, then scroll past to the next post, or stop reading here.
Eve has had zero mention of MAFS on her Instagram, but there are pictures of her in a teeny sparkly bikini posing and competing as a body builder. Absolutely ripped, very confident. Couldn't be a more different image from how she's presenting now. I think that cropped headshot above is from one of them. It's possible that she has a bit of help, or did do, to achieve that kind of body. I don't know about steroids, but do people who use them become paranoid as well as angry? Would this potentially be a contributory factor to her emotional state?
I think Charlie did behave badly behind the scenes, from being way over the top at the wedding, keep saying there is an attraction and pushing it, when we're all thinking WHY? what on earth can you be seeing in someone who treats you like this and who can barely raise a smile in the film we've seen. There were red flags there. Charlie did say that not only has she kept apologising, which fair enough she may have been gaslit into, but also repeatedly said she took accountability for her own actions, whereas Eve would not. We'll never know what was behind all of that, so we can't judge, but it does leave unanswered questions.
A few times I saw quite a smug expression on Charlie's face as though she was relishing her role. She also talked a lot about her safe space and Eve violating that, whereas Eve's 'truth' was that she was by the door because she couldn't trust what Charlie was saying, completely disregarding the fact that just by trying to listen, she herself was breaking trust whether she heard anything or not.
The two of them together was a toxic combination from the beginning of the honeymoon and not good for anyone's well being.
On Charlie's Instagram, before last night's airing actually, she urges everyone to 'be kind' to all the 'cast members' and says what happened wasn't anyone's fault.
I'd argue that everyone was culpable, including the panel for encouraging them to 'work on the relationship' No one should have been in her situation. let alone for the sake of an entertainment show, but I'm slightly sceptical about the ins and outs of it all.
