Yeah there are some interesting statements being carefully worded on Polly's insta account re Eve and Charlie.

I think he actually compares and contrasted the two groups, he said the way Casper was talking to Charlie about her relationship troubles was an example of a good and supportive friendship and the way Polly's group was whipping up a frenzy was an example of a destructive friendship group.

Polly is my number 1 disliked person so far. That's saying something. I actually prefer Shitlid now! He's brutal but honest and I think there's no hidden agenda, bullying or manipulation.

Polly, Eve and Holly are absolutely vile. Alex is also a giant child and I can see him being very emotionally cruel and manipulative. He does have some subtle Eve traits I think.

The contrast in the two friendship groups was quite stark.

Charlie’s group were just being supportive. To the point that Casper very eloquently reminded Polly of the differing levels of support Eve & Charlie had both had and to bear that in mind.

Eve’s group however were like the Witches of Eastwick. And Polly’s actions were damaging, not helpful.

Not to mention, if this were a relationship in real life where someone was being abused, then going at the abuser the way Polly did, could make an abusive situation far worse for the victim.

@RancidRuby My objection to it is the basic statement 'this shows how friendships can be damaging to a relationship', not 'this specific situation with this crowd of fame hungry drama llamas is not helping anything'

The comment alone taken out of context but stated by a 'relationship expert' is so dangerous.

I'm conscious of her recent health struggles - yet, I'm finding Mel incredibly unlikeable and disingenuous and by far the worst of these experts. I'm not sure what it is exactly.

I usually really like Paul but this isn't endearing me to him. Any one of these ' experts ' will have spotted that Eve is narcissistic and a few of the pairings are an emotional abuse minefield.

Polly rates herself as a good & loyal friend but she was a SHIT friend to Eve at the dinner party. She just wants the cameras on her, whether it’s good or bad for her. She just needs to be in the lime light to compensate for her lack of self esteem.

Eve is so damaged & terrified of any conflict she just says whatever she can in the moment to people please & it gets her in trouble as she ends up contradicting herself or lying to people’s faces. I feel sorry for her.
Something really awful must have happened to her in her past for her to be so unable to take any sort of confrontation or even vaguely heated conversation.
