Anyone know when 'the no.1 ladies detective agency is going to be shown as a series?

Watched the one off and loved it. Guess it will be advertised but wondered if anyone knew when the series is going to be on.

I had a feeling they said it would be shown next year and they would film this autumn but I could be mistaken. I loved it too - she's a fab actress and the character is great.

the director (anthony minghella) died just before the first one was shown at easter so not sur whether they have done the other ones yet???? it is my favourite series ever and saving the new book out for my holiday in may....
