Just been able to catch it on repeat.
Love love love Alfie.
Shitlid looks like a butcher not a barber. With similar sensibilities.
Barbie seems hard work. Hopefully her husband will help her realise that not having sex isn't an actual affliction.

It's made me feel like I need my teeth bleached.

It's more made me feel like I need my brain bleached.

Alfie didnt have a personality in my opinion, he was practically salivating waiting to tell his bestie that the new man said she wasnt his type. He could've had some tact. Was no different to what Lacey's friends did yesterday regarding the 'wow' towards the twin sister. Typical gay bestie behaviour.

murasaki · 19/09/2024 23:39

These people walk amongst us. It's quite scary really 🤣

Yeah, anything with K T PRICE in it gets blocked and deleted

oooh, why?

No, you aren't wrong.

Either is ok

GrizzLee · 19/09/2024 23:53

Alfie is the only bloke we've seen so far that is marriage material, and I'd put a LARGE amount of money on the fact that I'm not his type. He has more nous in his little finger and more kindness, not to mention better hair, than any one else on the show, including the ixperts.

Spot on!

Appalonia · 20/09/2024 00:17

To me, Alfie is the only person in this show who is an actual recognisable human being...

chaosmaker · 20/09/2024 00:21

I like Barbie and Grawp

The women all seem to have crippling anxiety over their looks (Emma is the exception) and the men seem to have the opposite of whatever body dymorphia is. Bowl Head Boy is like the real life embodiment of Shallow Hal.

Edited

I was coming on to say the same thing; where do all these sad sacks get such an over-inflated view of themselves whilst most of the women are just saying ooh I hope he likes me 🤨
Loving all the ShitLid/Lego hair etc jokes 😂

Oneandahalfonagoodday · 20/09/2024 01:03

Is Alfie gay or has he got a secret crush on Polly? I missed the backstory

JudgieJudie · 20/09/2024 05:03

chaosmaker · 19/09/2024 23:44

oooh, why?

As soon as I put it there, it disappeared before my eyes

Picoloangel · 20/09/2024 05:39

Looking to the next episode why on earth would the, ahem, “experts” match a couple where one wanted someone without children with someone with 2 children? I’m not saying he’s right to have asked for that but it’s setting them up to fail isn’t it?

I like Ross. I agree with others that Sasha’s celibacy is not having a relationship and not having casual sex. Not the same as being celibate 🤔
Her family are terrifying and they definitely do look like they are wearing masks. Weird.

To the previous posters who have used the words “podgy” and “tubby” thank you, those words have made me really chuckle for some reason.

I am news to MAFS shocked by how these mediocre men feel completely entitled to expect Margot Robbie to be walking down the aisle!

I’d love a mirror that shows me in as perfect a way as Adam’s clearly does

lalaloopyhead · 20/09/2024 06:03

I thought that about the preview couple too, with him saying he ticked the prefer no kids box...why put these people together?
I think the bride is the woman who had kids young and one was 13? Blending families and step parenting is a challenge at the best of times but I can't see how this could possibly be hoped to work and seems like the worst set to fail couple so far.

Ross is giving me hey you guys from the Goonies vibes.

All the straight women, except Emma and Kristina, seem so very insecure about their looks. Sasha and Lacey in particular have totally overdone the Botox and/or filllers. It's quite sad to see that ridiculous beauty standards are pushing women not only towards fucking their faces up in this way but also the damage it's doing to them emotionally feeling they have to conform to whatever these average men deem attractive. I'm very thankful that my youth was played out in the 90s and the worse I did was overpluck my eyebrows. Who knows what sort of long term damage these women are doing to themselves.

joolsella · 20/09/2024 07:09

There are quite a few women this year who arent the typical skinny/insta/plastic Barbie types

Yes I think it’s been much better this year.

Yes but the ones who are, are just such caricatures.

Just catching up on last night's episode now and Sacha's parents 😱
Am actually speechless, something that never happens!

Edited to add that she looked so much better pre-surgery/face work/tweakments

Moseley, @murasaki? Posh.

I'm in Bournville.

Hello neighbour.

I’m Bartley Green so just down the road 👋😁

Catlord · 20/09/2024 08:20

Polly seems a gem, does the bloke (Adam?) not realise what he himself looks like? Not being unkind but he talks about 'unreal women' and 'looking good together'

His friend seemed on the verge of pointing out that he was no oil painting and had struck very lucky physically with Polly even if she's a tall redhead rather than a small brunette. He pulled back though. Tact on wedding day or more to it re Adam's confidence maybe. His presentation does him no favours. That kind of bowl hairdo is for a young guy who can carry off any trendy nonsense. I'm surprised a barber doesn't realise he needs something a lot more classic and flattering and those teeth are ridiculous.

I wish they wouldn't put men who are so insistent on wanting a petite woman with one that isn't (Kesia and Kwame). Fine to have a preference, but there are just so many value judgements throughout life re weight and size, it must be really upsetting. They start with the wedding bits to camera 'hmm not really my type, I like them small' while the unsuspecting bride is positive about the man, honeymoon doubtful glances, sex issues, the woman trying to make it work, glances at the other women. I just don't see the point and it always happens with very attractive women.

Ross and Sasha seem interesting and kind people, they've taken each others' differences in their stride and seem keen to make each other comfortable.

I agree. And I know this sounds catty but her skin is awful, why spend all that money and not address the basics?

joolsella · 20/09/2024 08:58

Sacha is the "aesthetics practitioner"

Non prizes for guessing who she practices on
