Story line seems a bit samey but might be worth a watch.

From a quick search seems it was originally shown on Paramount, or maybe there are 2 series with the same name.

I've recorded thought it looked ok, its on ITVX as well but rather watch it on normal tv and forward the adverts as ITV X is so slow

me to! Not sure how many episodes but will probably binge watch once it is done.

I get confused if I watch different series throughtout the week, and at the start of the next week have forgotten most important parts of plots.

I gave up, only watched about half of the first episode and found it boring!

Have to say I am finding most of the BBC and ITV output of so called dramas not only boring, but so similar it really is hard to get engaged.

I am relying more and more reduced sub offers to various streaming services.

@IwantToRetire this is a good streaming platform, totally free.

Enjoyed this crime drama recently

Thanks - I have used it in the past, and found many series I missed at the time as well as newer series.

Haven't used it for a while as I have 2 (!!) reduced subs as the moment so trying to watch as much as I can.

In fact haven't used it since it became U (was UKTV) and think it has more options.

But thanks for the reminder.

(I didn't like Annika as much as I thought I would.)

It is a bit better than some others but does have the crime series bingo thing happening a bit

Finally finished this series. I thought the lead actress Emma Appleton was at the same school of drama as Kara Tointon. She didn’t seem to have any expression on her face and was really wooden.

IwantToRetire · 20/10/2024 21:21

I've only just finished watching this.

And despite finding the lead actress a tiny bit irritating, was interested in the plot lines (too many for me to keep track of) but also how it took a critical look at the legal profession.

I have a feeling I may have dozed off in the last episode as cant remember how they eventually unravelled what had happened.

But was a bit put out, irritated, by the last scene where it would seem they are hoping to continue the story line into a second series.

I think it was a bit better than some of the 9pm slots series which are now so pedestrian. But I think it fact was made by one of the streaming services, ie not a UK main tv channel.
