Can anyone tell me what’s going on with Hollyoaks? The one year time gap etc.

I read a BBC article today, budget slashed, loads of the cast culled etc. And they’re skipping an entire year. Do any of you watch it? How is it going?

(I’ve never seen it, but I know it’s a soap.)
