I gave up with it for exactly the same reason!

I really enjoyed the Daryl spin off set in France - looking forward to the next one.

Me too, why did they dumb down City so much, was it a different production team?

I'm not sure on that one. The Daryl one used a french production team which did give it a different feel, but I think it worked.
