ER Elizabeth Corday - Outlander Claire Beauchamp Randall Fraser

I'm watching Season 4 of ER, and Dr Corday (Alex Kingston) has operated on a child and something hasn't gone right, and it struck me - she's very like Claire Beauchamp Randall Fraser from Outlander.

Not sure if its the accent, or what it is, but I wondered if anyone else saw any resemblance?

Yes, when I first read the books in the late nineties I pictured her as Claire.

Just watching S04 Episode 15 where she goes down a vent to get a person trapped, and they are saying "come away, its about to collapse"
she's pulling the guy out, and they're saying no come out
and she knows better!

(yes she got him out, but seriously!)
