Gill is the dark horse. Consistently good. Sad to see Mike go. Sumiyah is soooo irritating.

I’m unhappy tonight. I was hoping Sumaya would go. I am having to mute the tv every time she appears and sometimes I don’t do it quickly enough. 🤬

I'm thinking pastry might just be Nelly's week.

@cuddlebear I was hoping she’d go as well. I cannot stand her voice and it’s not just because of what other posters have called a vocal fry. She also tries to speak through her teeth and the hardly separate when she talks.

Just catching up with this. I’m not keen, it’s turned into extreme baking/A level art.

I thought it was just me. It really has changed I think into extreme baking/A level standard or very arty.

Michael was annoying though.

I agree with @AnnieMcFanny Nelly’s voice is irritating.

The most irksome by far is Andy. Awful. If it were being judged on face expressions and body movements, and how they talk, Andy would have been gone before it started.

I like Nelly, she's such a pleasant person. Took that other idiot, Noel, smashing her bowl very well. I think she's a lovely voice too. I mostly like all of the contestants, well bar Andy.

I'm not an Andy fan, in case anyone was uncertain. 😄

i really like Andy. He makes me laugh, he's a decent baker too.

I have an instant bias against the cheeky chappie and Essex boy act, so I figure that doesn't help. 🤣

I’m pleased Sumaya is staying, her bakes are quite original.

I’d be surprised if Noel didn’t get a ticking off from the production team for smashing the jug. Nobody wants smashed glass flying about.

It was Pyrex as well, which is absolutely awful because it shatters and goes far and wide. It doesn't just crack into a couple of pieces, it seems to almost explode!

I liked the look of Gill's and Nellie's showstoppers best tonight, I don't really like unnatural colours.

I love Nelly and she took that smash so graciously! Can tell she's a mum 😁

Andy is growing on me, a mechanic who can bake like that is quite something.

Christiaan is my least favourite just because of his insane many many accents.

When I was in hospital after an operation to fix my broken ankle, a woman was brought in to have a ga to have her knees cleaned. She'd slipped & fallen & smashed a couple of Pyrex bowls only just after buying them in Woolworths. Her knees were full of tiny bits of the glass. Poor lady was in so much pain.

I hope Noel calms down a bit now, especially around the benches. I hope he really did clear it all up and the hoovering wasn't just for the camera.

I'm catching up on this week's episode. I've not been following this thread but I've just had to come on to say how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE Nelly.

Every week she makes me laugh. So witty and warm and funny. She's a good baker too, but I couldn't care less if her cakes were rubbish. I need Nelly to have a career in TV after this.

I'm predicting Nelly for the win.
