Better Call Saul - when does it get more interesting?!

I’ve just binged Breaking Bad for the 4th time 🫣 have tried and failed to get into Better Call Saul every time I’ve finished BB and always got bored after episode 2!

I’m determined to watch it this time, but when can I expect the storyline to become as gripping as BB is from the outset?!

Keep going - BCS knocks spots of BB! Best character development of any show I've ever seen (well, it ties with The Americans).

I kind of feel compelled to finish it now! Partly due to the people who said it gets better, and partly because my Dad was watching (and enjoying!) it before we lost him very suddenly, and I feel like I need to finish it for him 🥲

it's one of those shows where you really need to pay attention to it all, don't watch it when your busy doing other stuff because you may miss things that may seem like nothing on the surface, but actually do have meaning & connect to the bigger picture. Jimmy gets up to so many shenanigans & he's got a very quick & clever mind. It is a slow burn to get from Jimmy to Saul ,but it's worth every minute. As everyone says seeing many of the familiar characters show up from BB is fun too.

It’s worth it, it’s become my second favourite series. There are around 3 arty, drawn out episodes that I skipped through quickly, but keep going. So worth it imo!

I loved them all ! 😊

I abandoned breaking bad half way through. It's awful.

Didn't even bother with better call saul

I loved it!

It does get better though it never becomes as gripping as Breaking Bad. It eventually intersects with the BB story, but at a distance from it. Some parts are quite exciting but it is definitely a different feel to BB.

Oh it's beautifully observed, nuanced and such a clever slow-burn. We were gripped from the get-go whereas BB took me a while to get into. I think BCS is one of my favourites of all time - such a deft touch and it gives itself time to develop without the need to hammer you over the head with its agenda.

I LOVED Better Call Saul. Yes it's a slow burner but I was hooked. Keep watching!

I liked it - though it is different from Breaking Bad . Early on its more daft wiyh Jimmy and his schemes and less high stakes violence, but it builds.

I think it gets more interesting, as people have mentioned, is when we learn more of Mike and Gus. There were some great episodes but the last series, and episode, was the most disappointing. I admit I held on as I wanted to see the episodes with Jesse etc.

It gets better stick with it 😀
