Andrey beat Jannik-who is having trouble with his hip. He seems to have had a few problems with it off and on since Australia. Bit worrying with the US Open not far off- he won't want to miss that as well (although he has qualified for the WTFs already).

Hope Casper is ok. I don't think all the travel agrees with him.

I'm beginning to thik Casper might give up tennis and take up golf- which would be very upsetting, as I really can't watch golf for more than 5 minutes at a time

Will miss the Olympics though- the Paralympics clash with the US open , but the time difference means I can just watch both . Closing Ceremony starting soon. Had to turn over when Claire was gushing over Djok

I think I just managed to watch the boring bits of the Olympics closing ceremony (I switched off after the French pop groups) and managed to miss Tom Cruise and Red Hot Chilli Peppers - oh well!

I have completely last track of the tennis - I need to have a catch up - I'm also attempting to do a post Wimbledon/post Olympic house clean but it's too hot!

I don't think I've watched any proper telly for months!

I went downhill after the Asterix question on OC (which, as ever, says a lot about my general knowledge ).

Shame to see that Rajeev and Joe lost the final in Montreal- I hope this week has been positive for them though. And Alex Popyrin beat Andrey- so, fingers crossed Andrey dealt with that loss ok, and no racquets (or heads) were damaged!
