Taylor lost, which he won't be too pleased about- and Opelka did (and I'd almost thought he'd given up!).

Casper still hasn't played a match- I'm not sure if he's withdrawn from the singles, his doubles match was cancelled.

Bit stressed today as well, DD1 gets her A Level results tomorrow- she doesn't think it's gone well (the last year has not been great) and it's her 18th on Friday, so the timing could not be worse.

I've bought her a large bottle of something alcoholic terrible parenting, but I might need it (that I had to return to the shop with, because they didn't take the security tag off).
So, now I know where the alarms don't work, should anyone want to pilfer a few bottles of Fireball. .

Glad to hear that the horrid baby doll has disappeared from Cinci - Cinci always reminds me of Covid times - didn't they play different tournaments there and just called them different names (something like that anyway)

I hope that Casper is OK - I think when he was ill at the French open he was really ill - hope he gets better soon

Also hoping that Jannik is fully fit as well - we need someone to wipe the smugness off Djok's face

Jannik said he had spent a week in bed and basically is just exhausted I think. He's going to try to reset after Cincinnati.

Thank you everyone- DD1 has been putting a brave face on things, but she's more worried than she lets on- but A levels and uni are not the be all and end all - and she will only just be 18.
