Ah poor Cobolli - speaking in front of so many people would be one of my worst nightmares - it's not for everyone - especially if it's not your first language

I'm also wondering when the breakdancing is going to be on - apparently they don't know what music they're going to be dancing to? (Public dancing also one of my worst nightmares)

They don't know the music in advance? Oh, I'm looking forward to it even more now . It sounds like a drunken party waiting to happy. Or that singing battle bit in 'Pitch Perfect' but with dancing.

Just watching the diving semi final- an Italian woman (so many Italians!) has just done a dive where the commentators were horrified and she's lucky she didn't' do a Greg Louganis (remember him?) and whack her head on the concrete. She was millimetres from the board.

I'm thinking of getting Olympic rings tattoed on my arm or leg somewhere.

When people ask if I was at a games, I will just act coy.

I'm an armchair medalist.

Some Montreal results from over night- Holger beat RBA (who was a lucky loser) - and Jannik and Jack won in the doubles.

Billy 'Arris lost to Nakashima, but at least he made it to the main draw.
Felix is back from the Olympics today (suppose he couldn't miss a 'home' Masters- both Carlos and Djok are skipping it).

I have been watching the diving again this morning. it does scare me a bit .

I'm still glued to the Olympics though. Whilst watching the syncho swimming (which I think they call artistic swimming now)- I gave myself nightmares with the French team- who had swimming caps with faces on the backs of their heads. It was a very clever idea - but bloody creepy .

I always enjoy watching Taekwondo - but haven't a clue what the rules are!

I am currently fascinated by the massive crowds watching the speed climbing.

The people right at the back surely can't see all that well. Maybe they have screens like at concerts?

I saw someone doing the speed climbing yesterday - they looked like Spider-Man!

Me and DH were trying to work out what Olympic sport we would best be suited to - synchronised swimming (or artistic swimming or whatever it's called) was a possibility for me although I don't like putting my head under the water

Now if tennis watching was an Olympic sport we would all get gold medals

Yes, I think my only hope for Olympic gold would be in spectating.

The thing i didn't understand with the Speed Climbing (amongst other things) was whether they had to touch all the 'rocks' on the wall- some seemed to , and some didn't Surely that would affect the speed - but there must be rules, or they would just swing to the top and touch a couple on the way up?

I love the graphics they use for each sport. They're so well done.

Watching all this does make me realise how unfit I am. Just walking around town with DD2 yesterday nearly did me in. I'd forgotten how far it was from side of town to the other .
