Ah yes that 13 year old tugged at my heart strings too. I thought the four "tarts" on the electric string instruments were fab. . Another one of my faves tonight was the comedien guy who took the P out of Boyzone.

I liked the dog, loved that thirteen year old. For a youngster of his age and background to have the guts to declare on national tv-"I don't want to hang baout the streets, I want to make something of my life"- I can only wish him an incredible future.

Am I the only one who feels nothing but irritation when they trot out the "I was raised by my great great nan because she needed me to look after her and we lived in a cardboard box by the side of the road and all we had to eat was gravel and then my gran died and a piano fell on my dad and and then my dog died in my arms after choking on my rabbit and then I was hit by a bus and now I'm dead" because I know that the whole reason they trot it out is to manipulate.
