After watching the weirdness of the Olympic opening for 3 hours I got completely overexcited by seeing Rafa carrying the torch on a boat!

It was a one of the better parts of a very strange opening ceremony .

He was getting very wet on that boat

Lovely to see him. I think Serena was seasick.

And that boat ride went on for ages!

Jeez! I'm afraid that wasn't a patch on London 2012. Quite funny listening to all the commentators trying to find polite ways of saying that was shite

I'm not sure if the tennis will be on the BBC Iplayer? I've got Discovery + so I'm hoping they're going to be showing quite a lot of the tennis

Nadalcaraz are playing in the doubles tonight at either 5pm or 6pm - (not sure if I was looking at French or UK time)

I watched the opening ceremony on Discovery + with commentary by Catherine Whittaker - she pointed out that Rafa's trousers were see through

The weather's still not looking good in Paris!

What a gorgeous picture! If this is Rafa's last year on tour, he's got some lovely memories with his son( who won't remember ) but the pictures are priceless.

I'm trying to work out why the BBC's coverage seems to consist of Fred Sirieix and Gordon Ramsey - must not spend all day watching the Olympics!

Yes, Fred ( due to his daughter) I can understand- and he's French.

But spotted Gordon on something yesterday , and can't work out why. Was with Adam Peaty? Did Gordon swim once? Does Adam like food?
