To be fair, it is 3 sets- and one of those sets in the doubles is a tie break thingy (tm) sometimes- he's young and fit enough to cope with that.

Would be worse if it was all 5 set matches.

It is a shame for players like Roman, and must be hard for players like Daniil who is usually quite flamboyant, one of the favourites and quite visible- very little has been said about him during this. I know clay is not his surface really anyway, which probably helps him keep a low profile.

I thought she had the match sewn up, but Zheng started to come back and then then the tie break happened (and everyone seemed confused by how many it was to!).
