I couldn’t see a new thread so thought I’d make one. Yup another boring one… Anyway looks like Konnor has bagged himself a Lollipop though I’m surprised the candyman didn’t get in there first (ugh). We haven’t had half as many games, the hideaway is perma open and no one’s going in there. No real discussions or code words around how the relationships are going on the chemistry front. What’s going on?

I cannot stand bloody Nicole.

They should have let the newbies chose one each to keep or couple up with. Then get rid of the remaining 4.
I can't understand why Nicole was crying, she's not particularly close to any in the bottom 3.
I hope a new couple is created and wins.

@Mover2024 I think Mimi is just infatuated, rejected and having to live with someone to whom she still feels very attracted and who - until tonight - has actively encouraged her. She’s also been egged on by the others.

I don’t know what it is about Jess - the hypocrisy I think. She went for Ayo knowing he was with Mimi and now is reacting in a really needy and angry way. I don’t hate her or anything I just find her irritating. I think she made a beeline for Mimi because she knew she was popular and I don’t believe it was genuine.

In large part too the memory of Mimi standing there alone after Casa was so awful and Jess and Ayo caused that. I know it’s a game but still!

I think the issue now is that despite what anyone says, Mimii has convinced herself that Ayo wants her but it's just difficult in the circumstances. It's hard to watch and she's annoying me. More than Jess now and Jess was annoying me a lot 😅

Yes I agree that she was not frank with Jess but equally I don’t think Jess was entirely frank - she wasn’t untruthful but she did exaggerate. There’s something about her that I can’t warm to.

i just think Mini has been really poorly and inaccurately advised by the others and it’s painful to watch. They should have been more careful with her feelings because she’s quite vulnerable where Ayo is concerned and she wants to believe it.

I can’t quite get past just feeling really sorry for Mimi for all sorts of reasons and primarily because she’s an elegant, bright, beautiful young woman who is being played and hurt by the love Island equivalent of the The Riddler. Just talk properly Ayo!!!!

I'm partly embarrassed for her, partly want to hug her and partly want to shake her.

I'm confident she'll steady herself again though and remember who she is 🙏🏾.

Completely agree regarding Mimi, I felt sorry for her initially - but now it’s like he is telling her straight to her face & she is just not believing it. It’s like she genuinely believes that he’s not serious & giggling about it. Very odd.
Then, the next thing she’s telling Jess that’s it to do with the circumstances & not hurting anyone else's feelings & that Ayo keeps flirting so they can’t talk because they don’t know how to be friends?

Ayo did well not to even go on the terrace. Surely that told her everything she needed to know. She should’ve left when he recoupled at Casa because unfortunately it is quite embarrassing for her & I’m sure she is going to watch this back in the future and cringe.

I find Mimi's behaviour unsettling rather than embarrassing. She thinks she is reading between the lines and he wants her. Perhaps he would potentially still be interested but he's refused to go to the terrace, said 'no' to continued flirtation, and she needs to heed that boundary whether or not she thinks he means it, and stop having these circular conversations.

She's had a lot of public goodwill but that could turn and I don't want to see that happen

Odd that she described it to Jess as a pending decision whether to take things forward.

I think it's time for her to go, like Sam when it got crazy with Joey. Not fair to keep her in for entertainment when it's no good for her sanity.

I don't think Jess's feelings towards Mimii are fake. I think there may be an element of guilt there, but she did say originally that Mimii is similar to her real friends. I actually like Jess and think it's a shame the Ayo/Mimii situation is making her look clingy., as unlike Nicole, she has had good reason.

Funny how Joey's "date" was in complete contrast to his one with Lolly, who he clearly wasn't interested in at all. He couldn't wait to tell this one he was open.

I wouldn't class Joey as flighty or annoying. He's a misogynist. I have sons too and I'd be incredibly ashamed if I knew they treated women how he's treating Grace. He's every bit as dangerous as Nicole.

What is it with EVERYONE in there stirring the pot and trying to break up Ayo and Jess? I think the producers are laying it on to get everyone to stir. Good for Ayo not going out on to that terrace with Mimi. There is something super weird about it all. I'm sure that something is up with Mimi. I think she has lost weight since she went in the villa and she looks like she is taking too much valium or something.

They've clearly run out of women that Joey actually knows to send into the villa, so we've just got someone whose Insta he has liked. It couldn't get more tragic. The Michael, Amber, Joanna triangle reminded me a bit of Ayo, Mimi and Jess situation except Amber would not have gone back the way Mimi has

I didn't see the Ekin Sue series but she was very unlikeable in Celeb Big Brother and I was tempted to go back and watch it!
