I couldn’t see a new thread so thought I’d make one. Yup another boring one… Anyway looks like Konnor has bagged himself a Lollipop though I’m surprised the candyman didn’t get in there first (ugh). We haven’t had half as many games, the hideaway is perma open and no one’s going in there. No real discussions or code words around how the relationships are going on the chemistry front. What’s going on?

Mimi secretly tried to arrange a meeting with Ayo on the terrace via Joey to presumably try and attempt a reconciliation.

Ayo refused to meet her there (as the terrace is associated with snogging).

Instead he met her somewhere more open and shut her down completely (nicely but as directly as hes ever been).

Mimi didn't really as far as we know come clean about this attempted meeting with Joshua or Jess

She was underhand enough to crawl along the terrace... and not woman enough to admit any of it to Jess, knowing she'll find out about it after anyway. I really struggle to have sympathy for her.

Thought it was embarrassing how Mimi behaved, trying to get Ayo up to the terrace. Seemed like she wanted to secretly snog him.

But also still like her and think it would be excruciating for the footage to be shared with the other islanders!

They must stop and think about these people surely . I've just watched series 2 , with both Caroline and Sophie in .. both of whom took their own lives . It's beyond sad.

I'd probably agree as a couple I'd have to say Ayo and Jess, which says a lot seeing as how much I disliked Ayo before! I really like Ciaran and I think Nicole is a lovely girl's girl... but obviously her behaviour towards Ciaran, and probably any man she's with, is damaging.

I like Grace and think she's handled herself amazingly in there. Reuben I've done a 360 on, he doesn't seem to be as he portrayed himself when he entered, but obviously he's not with Grace for now and not totally sure she's that keen.

Jessy, also amazing. I just want Ciaran to pick her up officer and a gentleman style, and sweep her out the villa.

Completely agree, at the end of the day it was an underhand thing to do.
She planned it, it didn’t work out, yes it’s embarrassing but it’s all been recorded, they’re all going to see it at some point either way.
For her own sake, she should’ve been honest with Jess & Josh as if she doesn’t say anything beforehand that’ll look worse.
I don’t agree that the producers are out to get her, it’s not a bad edit, she chose to try & pull Ayo to the terrace & it didn’t work out for her.

There's nothing wrong in them showing the mimi footage. They have shown worse and pp are correct in saying people have called for similar stuff to be shown before. It is embarrassing for her but those were her actions. I don't think she's got mental health problems she's got boy problems and what's worse is she probably isn't even crazy about him and on the outside they wouldn't last. She knew it would be shown, people at home etc would see it and she knows the li format and that there's every chance it could be shown at movie night.

Mimii is aware she's on camera and has ignored pleas for frankness from Josh when he's had very limited time and Jess who's tried her best to make things right so I'm a bit limited in sympathy (although I feel for anyone having their rejection shown to a direct audience).

Everyone of these contestants is aware of the pitfalls of appearing on Love Island.
Former contestants have discussed the problems they have faced .
Mimi should have known that crawling on the terrace to meet Ayo would most probably be shown on national tv. She doesn’t seem capable of telling the truth
Ayo has now made it clear that he’s not interested and she is not receiving this information.
For someone so beautiful, she appears to have low self esteem

I don’t think she should be given a pass because she’s female etc it just seems in a wholly different category than a bitch fest about another couple of even flirting.

increasingly this show makes for uncomfortable viewing - Nicole really isn’t great and I question whether she should be on a show like this. Joey is horribly toxic and misogynistic and it appears he has a production pass. It’s starting to feel like the Colosseum.
