Anyway s2 James Nesbitt is in Prison and is about his ex wife - when client Jon fallow makes a disturbed confession under hypnotised she sets out to save a life when she couldn’t save her daughter

Why is Richard the police man involved with the murderer and allowing the women be killed ?

I agree. First two were good, if implausible, then rubbish. Why did such good actors agree to appear?

Just finished the last two episodes . The whole thing started off well but last night's were awful and unbelievable , especially the scene on the bus where Suzanne was shouting her head off about the murders as if nobody else could hear !

Just seen 7&8. I didn't really understand the ending

It started off really well but last 2 crap

So from what I gather as can't find a recap yet - it all linked to her daughters death in s1

I also wanted to brush her hair

I think they were running away because whoever was in charge of the murders , would be after them when it was discovered Jon was dead .

I wondered that too.

Why are the police allowing the women be killed when they know the murderer.

And the Gina Mc Kee character- very strange.

I've started watching to catch up. It's very dark isn't it and yes, so much of it's implausible. I can't recall series one, so just watching this as a stand alone, although I wouldn't rule out that I did watch and just don't remember any of it 🙄

Too late to edit above, but had to go away and check. We've watched them all. I was convinced that watching on the catch up app there was more to come. It was a very. very odd way to end a series, both in credibility and even as a cliffhanger. I feel like a single paragraph saying this is what was behind it all, would suffice for me.

Yes I felt s2 ending was naff

But did mean - I think - that Jackie didn't kill daughter and James Nesbit /aka daddy did murder Jackie for no reason

Tho she did bodge the autopsy

This has to be the most awful programme- it's unbelievable, zips through at record speed, each episode is the same with her talking to someone getting mad then getting them to help her. It's absolutely nuts. We've done 5 and don't know if we cba either the last three🤷‍♀️

I’m watching it because Ive started it but the storyline is absolute pants

it just doesn’t feel cohesive and just very rushed and not plausible at all

The acting leaves a lot to be desired but partly because of the storyline

why is is all rushed? It’s like each new character gets half an hour screen time and then onto the next

not enjoying 30mins either - each episode is about 20 mins - what’s the point

It's terrible, what a waste of a reasonable cast. Really very poor and a complete waste of everyone's time.
