Just caught up with Andy's farewell, have to say I shed a little tear. I remember watching him when he first broke out and thinking how sulky he was back that.

Loved the story about him being sick in front of Kim. What a classy guy 😂.

Not seen any tennis today - it looks as if it’s been a busy one with a few upsets (unfortunately not the one I wanted!)

oh dear they’re talking about Emma not playing doubles with Andy - I bet Emma is no longer on Judy’s Christmas card list! It’s like Mac and Steffi all over again (I still don’t think that Mac has forgiven her!)

Thundery showers and up to 90% chance of rain according to BBC weather. Both roofs on all day I reckon.
Was annoying yesterday stopping to open then stopping to close again not much later. Silly lack of planning or pandering to someone's preferences?

I watched the highlights hoping to see Holger but they didn't even show him pfft

Fizzy Isa seemed a whole lot happier talking football, than she has done all week discussing the tennis. Laura is very confident in her role- and not just as a former player, I think it's just the way she is. Not everyone can do it- Laura was great as a 'roving reporter' at AO and RG- she's a natural around other people.

IPlayer coverage the last couple of days has been inadequate IMHO.
Too much else going on I guess but I've definitely not been able to find matches I've been interested in.

I am not sure why they bothered to open the roofs, when the forecast was still really sketchy- it was stop/start all day.

It gave Popyrin a good start, as it was quite breezy .I get they wanted to at least attempt an 'outdoor' match, but yesterday was not the day to guarantee that. Closing the roof was always going to help Djok, though, really.

I don't get why when they have two courts with roofs they just don't move some of the other matches on to them. They'll be done by the time the first official centre court match gets started. They still have the wheelchair matches to play later in the week too so all this will have a knock on effect to those matches.

Add in the way the BBC are treating the viewers by constantly switching channels, and moving a match to iPlayer at a crucial stage to make way for football build up. Wimbledon is starting to lose its sparkle.

I’m in North London so nowhere near SW19, but the weather is really windy and squally. Looks like it’s not due to fine up until late afternoon unfortunately. And more rain forecast in the coming days

Jasmine has started well. She's really taken to the grass courts this year.

I really like Jasmine, she’s a great competitor. Paula and Donna look like sisters.

Carlos is now warming up to play Humbert- so suddenly don't know what to watch .

Will stick with Jasmine for now.

Yes, I think he probably does- don't often see him not wear one to play. Maybe it's because of the roof?

I think I might watch a bit of Carlos - I’ve got to go out in a bit - I’m hoping that I’ll be back in time to see Sinner v Shelton - I’m trying to work out the possible timings

Jasmine seems to have this in hand, so I think I will watch a bit of Carlos. She is so positive and bouncy. I do like Madison, though. But really want Jasmine to continue her run.
