I’ve just found out James have Chloe Alper from Riot Grrrl on guitar and backing vocals. She’s fantastic. Definitely want to see them now! Big up the 60 plus legends too!

Shania has great legs.

The sound not so great

She looks great, but sounds awful. I can only make out about 50% of what she's singing.

The sound is not great 😕

I was also shocked when I googled that Tim Booth is 64! Shania is 58. Gawd.

She seems to have warmed up a bit.. must be awful to get off to a bad start like that.

I've realised I can only name four Shania songs and her voice sounds rough so not for me. Looks good though.

Such a shame. Going to watch Steel Pulse instead. They played at the first Glastonbury I went to back in 1984!

Sticking with Shania, she does keep fiddling with her ear piece, but dont forget she had throat surgery on her vocal chords after Lymes, so pretty amazing she can sing at all...

Diana Ross relied heavily on backing singers didn't she? When she was in the Legends slot. She just seemed to get by on a few whoops every few bars!

I've rolled back the clock to Newdad. There's a good spread of Irish bands over the festival covering a few different genres, great to see.

Mdou Moctar did one of the best guitar solos I've ever seen - he's clearly a jimi hendrix fan. It was like something out of spinal tap.

Allegedly Kylie had a backing track and Dolly mimed a lot of hers.
So it comes down to whether you want them to try and sing live (Debbie Harry, Cyndi Lauper) or a lip sync show. Shania sounds alright just not legendary. That said, there seems to have been a lot of tech issues this weekend.

I think she is ok and it’s as much about atmosphere when there

Mick Jagger doesn’t have a good voice but stil Rolling Stones were great

Diana Ross was criticised for her voice not being what it was but she was great she knows how to work the crowds they loved her and she was 78 ffs and looked amazing
