I’m all set for Orbital. Currently watching Nitin Sawhney, who I’d never heard of, they’re good, talented musicians.

Nitin Sawhney is phenomenal. The guy apparently has SEVEN honorary doctorates.

I play him a lot on Spotify but have never seen any video of him and had no idea there were two women singing with him. I’d love to learn the Bengali (?) words and sing along. In the privacy of my home of course.

Sorry haven’t read the thread just joining now. Loved dua lipa last night totally fab and don’t think she was mining honestly.
Finding Coldplay a bit same old same old so flicking between them and Jessie Ware. She’s good but I don’t know enough of her songs. She’s very enthusiastic.
Think the Glasto line up a bit odd/throw back this year tbh. DD totally nonplussed by it all just waiting for SZA tomorrow night. Who is massive with the teen girls round our neck of the woods.

Deffo not a great line up. Never heard of tomorrow's headliners and Coldplay is annoying as they have done this too many times as Glasto.
Very bizzare they didn't get a band or singer that hadn't headlined before for tonight.

Was really annoyed yesterday that the BBC didn't show, or even seem to record, Squeeze opening the whole thing at 12 midday. I turned it on especially to watch them but they just had Huw Stephens and a load of wittering bores on the 'live' coverage talking about what was coming up instead! And random clips from previous Glastos.

But anyway, totally love all the visuals, whatever the act. The lights, the flags, the crowds. Just brilliant, and beautiful.

Ah I’ve been looking for Squeeze.

Less talk and more music please BBC. That’s the whole point isn’t it?

Coldplay may not be the coolest band and Chris Martinight be annoying. But Coldplay features massively in the soundtrack of my teenage years. Therefore I will always have time for them

Coldplay were decent. Chris Martin has always split writing royalties equally. They're a stadium band who've put the hours in. Nowt wrong with that.
I remember when Travis were coming up at the same time.

Whilst some of us at airing opinions I’m finding the smugster same old presenters too much this year. Think jo Wiley et al. BBC really need to give some younger people a go at presenting honestly.
